I ran into my Target today and found that the Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion 2.5oz is included in the buy 3, get $5 Target gift card promotion! So this makes for a fabulous deal!
Here’s how it will work:

Use (1) $3/2 Aveeno Product, exp. 12/31/12 (SS 10/28/12)
And use (1) $1/1 Aveeno Product, exp. 12/31/12 (SS 10/28/12)
Pay $4.97 and get back a $5 Target Gift Card

There used to be a $1/1 Target coupon but that seems to have disappeared for me. The facial bar soap is also included at $2.89. The coupons do exclude bar soap so you would pay $1.23 per bar after gift card.
One important thing to note is that the amount you pay is less than the gift card value in the scenario above ($4.97 paid, $5 gift card back). Some stores have a little quirk where the gift card will not prompt if the amount you pay is under the gift card value. The best thing to do is either buy something else to get over $5 (anything at all in the store you might need for $.04 or more) OR if the gift card does not prompt you just need to go to customer service and they can help you.

Don’t the signs and coupons usually say they cannot be combined with another offer? How does this work?

Per the Target coupon policy you can use one manufacturer coupon and one Target coupon per item. The gift card is separate from that.
If you get Target mobile coupons, there is a $1/1 that doesn’t expired until 11/23. And there is $1/1 in the recent coupon book that came with the latest Target Beauty Bags. I used both today along with the manufacturer coupons and got the gift card without a problem. I did have 2 additional items in my purchase.
Where can Iget aveeno coupons?
Yay, did this deal yesterday. I always have a $5 gc from a previous transaction for these deals to lower my oop. I saw this post the first day you posted it and jotted it down. Wish I checked the comments before doing the deal as I forgot about the beauty bag Q. Looks like I’ll be back for more. 🙂 I really like this lotion.
