Here’s how the deal will work at Staples:
Buy Duracell AA or AAA Batteries 16pk (581672-AA or 618854-AAA) at $13.99
Get $13.99 back after Staples Rewards (limit 2)
Final Price: FREE

And at Office Depot it will look like this:

I just bought two of these yesterday, 11/23, will this be a new deal that I can do?

We had a single sheet insert of Duracell and Hasbro coupons in our Thanksgiving Day paper. The Duracell coupon is $4 off 2, 8 pack or larger batteries making this deal GREAT!

I have staples rewards from buying these during the summer. Can I use the rewards I got from that time on this transaction and still receive the new reward?

I have rewards at Office Depot. Can I use my rewards to get the batteries and still receive the reward? I am new to Office Depot rewards and this is the first reward I have ever received. Any info on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

I just read on another post that you will NOT get the rewards back if you use rewards to pay for a reward qualifying item…

I never made it to Staples on Black Friday, so I had missed my battery deals! So glad I get another chance!

I’ve done Easy Rebates before, but never the Staples rewards before… If I use the $4/2 coupon that Julie mentioned, will I still get the full retail amount back in rewards? Or will it be reduced by the coupon? Just curious to hear from anyone who has done this before… Thanks!

Don’t use rewards to purchase items that give rewards. The reward you earn is reduced by any reward certificate or coupon used. In other words, you will be wasting your reward if you use it to buy more reward items (I learned the hard way).

Oh, and did anyone notice the Office Depot ad says limit of 2 PER DAY?

Can I use my Rewards Certificate with coupons?

Yes. We accept valid coupons when you make a purchase with your Rewards Certificate. However, purchases made with Rewards or Merchandise Cards/Certificates do not qualify for Rewards.

I’ve never done Rewards at Office Depot. Does anyone know if we can use rewards to pay for items that qualify for mail-in-rebates and still get the full amount of the MIR back? Meaning that the rebate won’t be considered invalid or reduced in amount due to using Rewards as payment? Thanks in advance 🙂

It looks like rewards automatically update to your account for both stores if your member number was used during purchase. Says it takes p to 6wks.
