I have mentioned Audible a bunch of times- it is one of my favorite things. It is a service to download audiobooks and you can listen to them via the app on your smart phone or download the books to another electronic device.
I listen to books all the time- when I am walking the dog, running, cooking, cleaning the house, driving in the car. Audible keeps your place perfectly and it just takes a few clicks to download the book.
If you have a Kindle you can switch back and forth between reading books and listening to them on Audible!
