Well it looks like the monthly Amazon Prime option I mentioned earlier has been opened up to more areas! This is really a great deal for those that might just want Prime through the holidays. You get free 2 day shipping and there is no minimum purchase required.
They rolled this out a few days ago to select areas- you will know it is available to you by clicking above and see what the screen says. When I initially posted the offer was not available to me and now it is showing as available so I am hoping more cities are available.
Normally, Prime is $79 per year but with the monthly program you can purchase it for $7.99 per month. This does work out to more than the yearly fee but a great option for those that are not interested in this year round.
We are going to see more and more deals in the coming weeks and it would be so beneficial to have Prime. I actually pay for Prime myself because I love it so much.
Other benefits include unlimited instant streaming of thousands of movies and TV shows with Prime instant video. Plus you can borrow a Kindle book for free each month from the Kindle Owner’s Lending Library.

Tori, Mine was doing the same thing. If you are logged in try logging out and then trying it. I contacted customer service and I am now signed up but try the logging out trick first.

Thanks Sharla. It worked like a charm when I logged out of Amazon then came back here & clicked on the link & logged back in. It defaulted to the $7.99.
I couldn’t find the monthly option so I chatted with a rep and she said I wasn’t eligible because I had done the free trial. 🙁
