Target will match prices with online competitors beginning November 1st through December 16th. This includes Amazon, Walmart.com, BestBuy.com, Toysrus.com and Babiesrus.com. This is the first year Target has ever price matched online prices so it should make for some nice deals!
It sounds like it will be a fairly simple process. Just show the competitors online price for the item you are price matching on your smart phone or customer service can look it up to confirm. Most likely it would make for a quicker transaction if you just pulled it up on your phone and had it ready to show customer service.
Also, Target will be extending their current price matching policy November 1 – December 24 to include Target.com. So if you buy an item in store and then see it cheaper at Target.com within 7 days you can get the price adjusted.
Target is also rolling out free wi-fi and hopes to have this in all stores by the holidays.
And just a reminder that Toys R Us price matches as well.

I’m excited about the free wi-fi too! I cut my smart phone data plan to save money. So if there is wifi I could bring it up on my smart phone through the wifi or my kindle fire. Awesome!!!
I’m excited about the w-fi, too. I never seem to get signal inside the store. If I don’t remember to pull up my coupon text before I go in, I march back outside before I check out.
