There is a new machine available from Silhouette right now. It is called the portrait and it is a smaller, lighter version of the Cameo. (Not to mention less expensive).
This machine is so cool. It does tons of stuff from heat transfers to customize fabrics, to custom stationary items like invites, gift boxes and more.

You can do vinyl designs, stencils and rhinestone templates.
I have a Cameo and I am still totally new to using it. My first project was making vinyl letters for a glass jar. I made a jar to collect spare change that stays in the laundry room. I put “tips” on the front and it looks fantastic. I have a bunch of other projects that I have been doing with the Silhouette Cameo that I will get posted soon.
You can really do so many cool things and customize things all over your home with this little machine.
The Cameo is priced at $270.00 so this is a significant discount and this product is brand new to the market. It was actually not supposed to be available until November and the MSRP is $199.
This says it won’t ship for 2-4 weeks so you do need to be a little patient but the great thing is shipping is free.
Head over to Amazon to grab your machine!
If you want to read more about this cool little machine, head over to Silhouette here.

Excuse me, but why does this ad/page say that the Silhouette Portrait Cutter is $149.00 but when I get to the Amazon site it is $199.00?
Karen,
This was posted on October 5th. You can see the date listed in a large blue box on the left side. Prices on Amazon can change at any moment so it is always best to order when things are posted. If you wait for several days, the price can jump back up.
Could you please change the title of your post, just go to Edit and change it because this is very deceptive.
Thank you
Gisela,
There is nothing at all deceptive. This was posted on 10/5 and today is 11/14. You simply missed the sale. These great offers just don’t last forever. There are not enough hours in the day for me to monitor every single post for exactly when prices change. I would recommend buying things when the sales are posted and not 6 weeks later.
