You can see Safeway’s coupon policy right here. Most stores will allow you to stack a manufacturer coupon with the store coupons that can be found in the weekly circulars. You will want to be sure to get a club card for Safeway to take advantage of the sale prices! Safeway sale prices tend to vary from region to region so you will always want to double check your local ad! Also, I do not have double coupons in my area so your prices are likely much better than mine!Be sure to read about the new Just for U program rolling out at Safeway!
For the holidays, we will see a month long ad in addition to a regular weekly ad from Safeway. The deals below are from the special month long ad that runs from 11/1-11/22. We will likely see another one for December.
One note is that you might want to hold out on some of these items if you don’t need them right away. I am thinking we will probably see a lot of new coupons pop up before the ad expires.
And you can see the current list of Safeway catalina offers here.
Any other great deals you can see?

My JFU has a $.75/2 Ragu coupon. That will go well with the 2/$3 plus free Safeway pasta deal.

My NoCA Safeway has McCormick Spices B2G1 Free, x1/1/13
There’s a $2/1 McCormick coupon (Limit 2) in the Ad for 11/1-11/22.
I did this:
Buy 3 McCormick Chili Powder (red cap) $2.59 each
– $2.59 automatically one bottle is FREE, x1/1/13
– $4.00 from the $2/1 in-ad coupon (only clipped one), x11/22
Paid $1.18 for 3 bottles
I took notes on other McCormick (red cap) Spices prices, all B2G1F:
$1.79 Parsley
$2.59 Paprika & the Chili Powder
$2.99 Oregano
$3.69 Basil
And notes on McCormick Gourmet Spice prices, all B2G1F x1/1/13:
$4.19 Mustard Seeds
$4.29 Oregano
(Data base reports a mfc coupon on the Gourmet variety. I didn’t try)
$1/1 peelies were on the Spice Islands Vanilla. So I think Vanilla would be $4.99-$1 in-ad store coupon – $1 peelie = $2.99. I didn’t need vanilla.
