{Closed} Giveaway: Marriott $100 Travel Voucher

I have a fun and quick little giveaway for some of you that might be travelling soon.

The Marriott and Coinstar have teamed up to provide one lucky winner a $100 voucher to use as they please at any Marriott location.

You can use this for your accommodations, for an amenity like golf or spa treatments or use it at the restaurant inside the hotel.  There are so many fun ways to splurge a little on your next trip!  One of my absolute favorite things to do is order room service and it always seems so extravagant so I feel a little guilty.  If you win this travel voucher you can sit and enjoy whatever it is you love totally guilt free.

If you are not familiar with Coinstar, they are the company behind the big green machines in many grocery stores nationwide.  You simply pull together all the change around the house and pop over to a Coinstar machine and cash in your coins for cash or gift cards.  The gift cards are to places like Amazon, Starbucks, CVS and more- so a bunch of great choices there.  This is a major time saver because you don’t have to sit and roll up coins.

Coinstar is now also partnering with Marriott to provide customers with travel cards that are free of any fees.

You just dump your coins in the Coinstar machine, cash them in for the Marriott voucher slip and then take that right over to Marriott to pay for your services.

Pretty cool!  When I first started dating my husband he used to have this drawer in his kitchen full of change.  One day I dumped the entire thing in a bag and dragged it right to a Coinstar and voila!  He had over $50 just sitting in a drawer.  Literally took me just 2-3 minutes to do.

So you may have a nice little surprise tucked away somewhere too that you can cash in for something you really want.

Coinstar sent me a small travel voucher to test out the new program at Marriott hotels.  I am planning a little weekend trip for my husband and I later this month to celebrate our 8 year anniversary.  We intend to stay at one of the beautiful Marriott hotels in Sonoma or Napa and this voucher will help a little with the cost of the hotel stay!
