I was just wondering if anyone else ordered one? I ordered 2 for Christmas gifts and was so excited to get them. However they just arrived and are not what I was expecting. They are very thin fleece almost like a piece of felt fabric. Not even what I would define as a blanket. Don’t waste your money!

I was glad to see I was not the only one disappointed by this “blanket”. My kids and I designed one to give to their dad for Christmas and I received it 2 days ago. My kids and I huddled around the package to see our masterpiece and we were all shocked by the quality and size. It would not even be big enough for him to cover himself. The fabric is probably the worst part though, it reminds me of a Christmas Tree skirt made of the felt like fabric.
Hmm. That isn’t what I have heard Kristin. I heard it was a little thin but overall the feedback has been very good. It is fleece and I have never found fleece to be particularly thick myself so I wouldn’t expect a super thick, plush blanket when I ordered. Maybe you should just get in touch with them directly. This is a consistent best seller and another reader yesterday just told me she thought hers was beautiful.
I did get a hold of York customer service and they were really great. He did inform me that they are coming out with a thicker higher quality blanket so I might consider doing that one. I will say of the lighter fleece blanket that if it was a keepsake and just for the purpose of displaying it then people might be happy with it. If your looking for a blanket that is at least the fleece that you would buy from walmart clothing or children’s place glacier wear then this would not be the blanket for you. Anyways, just trying to be helpful so no one else is disappointed especially this close to Christmas.
