Target: Dr Scholl’s Inserts Free after Gift Card

09/30/2012. This post may contain affiliate links. Read my Disclosure Policy.

Just a reminder about this deal I posted last week.  There is a new Target coupon that makes it an even better deal:

Get a $5 gift card when you buy 2 Dr Scholl’s items from 9/23-10/13.

So here is one idea:

Buy (2) Dr Scholl’s for Her inserts starting at $7.99
Use $2/1 Dr Scholl’s coupons
or Use $3/1 Massaging Gel insoles from 9/16 SS
or Use $3/1 Dr. Scholl’s For Her Insoles, exp. 10/7/12 (SS 09/16/12)
and Use $5/2 Target coupon
Pay $4.98 and get back a $5 gift card
Final Price: Free!

And here is a second deal- these items did not have the gift card promotion attached but still are a great deal:

Dr Scholl’s for her ball of heel cushion $4.99
Dr Scholls for her hidden arch support cushions $5.54
Use $2/1 Dr. Scholl’s For Her Product printable
or Use Use $3/1 Dr. Scholl’s For Her Insoles, exp. 10/7/12 (SS 09/16/12)
and Use $5/2 Target coupon
Final Price: Free!

My store had insoles for 4.49 so with the 3/3]1 manufacturer and 3/1 target it was a $1.51 mm per insole. Which is better than the gift card deal to me because I didn’t have to pay anything out of pocket.

Katie,

Yes but according to Target’s coupon policy, the coupon should be adjusted down. They do not offer overage so not everyone is going to get the same deal you did.

I think it also depends on the product you want. The $4.99 ones at my store are not full insoles- just little ball of foot insoles.

What part of the store are these found? I was looking at fairway last week and couldn’t find them.

Nicole,

Near the BenGay and Bandaids and such.

u are correct Target’s policy is no overage, however…..each Target is different on how they want to do it, the same as pricing u can go to 1 Target & then another 5 miles away & find higher prices, I just moved & shop at a different target that doesn’t allow even a penny overage, so those that report overage are not making up stories :-) I try to go to my old Target as much as possible for the overage, which has a pattern of never allowing more than .50 & that seems to be a pattern of if I have lots of other items I’m purchasing, they must set up the register with criteria your shop has to meet to get overage, I dont know how it happens but it does.
