Here is a quick little giveaway for those of you that might still need a few items for Back to School.
We did a little shopping a few weeks ago and now I am finding we need a few more little things here and there. If you have not checked out a Ross store- well it is a treasure hunt for sure!
You can find all sorts of brand name items at serious discounts and it is one stop shopping because they have everything from accessories to shoes to beauty items to household decor.
Most stores get new shipments a whopping 6 days a week so there is almost always fresh items to be found.
Ross sent me a $25 gift card to see what I might find for Back to School. I spotted all sorts of great products but I wound up putting the $25 to good use. Here is what I found:
I wanted a little plastic tub or something to corral all the homework items. My big girl started Kindergarten this year and she has workbooks and packets that go back weekly so I was envisioning big piles of clutter all over the kitchen counter.
I found this little box that is much nicer then I originally intended for just $10.99. It is cushioned and very spacious and even zips up. This is perfect because it is lightweight and has handles so we can take it on the go if needed and once she is done with her assignments, she just zips it closed and it goes into a cabinet totally out of the way.
My little girl goes to preschool for a few hours a week. She can only wear closed toe shoes which basically eliminates half the shoes in her closet. Plus I swear I went through all her shoes right before school started and now 3 weeks later she seems to have outgrown a few pairs.
So we grabbed these adorable pink shoes for just $12.99! The retail price is $28.00 and I can’t say which brand they are from, but I can tell you it is a very popular children’s clothing company and these are great quality.
And last but not least we really, really try to encourage the girls to look at books. We read a lot to them and I play audiobooks pretty frequently as well. We made a little reading corner in my big girl’s room for her to sit and look at her books and magazines and sometimes she colors with an audiobook playing. So I wanted to get a little throw blanket for this corner to make it especially comfortable and appealing to spend time.
I found a really soft little pink blanket for just $6.99.
So I spent $31 total but I got three things we needed for back to school and even better all my shopping done at one time!
