There is a nice deal at CVS this week on razors and it looks like the deal might be even better then I thought.
Here is the deal I posted in the CVS matchups:
Gillette Fusion Razor or Venus Razor – Get a $5 ECB with purchase (limit 1)
Use $4/1 Fusion from 8/12 RP
and Use Free Mach 3 razor when you buy Gillette razor from 8/26 P&G
or Use $3/1 Venus from 8/26 P&G
Final Price: Possibly Free!
According to reader Melanie, she actually found the Venus razors priced at $6.89 at her store!
So she paid $3.89 after coupon and got back a $5 ECB! I get excited when razors are free let alone a little moneymaker. We don’t see these kinds of deals nearly as often as we used to!
Just note that the price is not listed in the weekly ad so you may find a little variation but it should still work out to a nice deal for most of us.

Gillette razor deal is limit 6. I tried this deal myself today.
The cheapest were 7.49 in my store and not marked for this promo, but worked.
I still had my 25% off coupon from CVS Thursday email
Using a % and a bogo coupon together is pretty awesome
7.49 Venus + 11.99 Mach 3 razor=19.48
used $3 venus Q and Buy Gillette System Razor, get Mach 3 free (up to 11.99)
19.48 -25% = 14.61
minus 3 and 11.99, you go negative
the 25% comes off the entire order at the end, so I don’t think it violates any coupon policy to go negative in this case, but I had other items in my transaction too.
The Mach 3 doesn’t give any ECBs but when used like this , more (razors) is less ($$)

Gillette Venus 1ct (Blue pkg) $7.39
– $4 Venus RP 8/12
– $1.85 (e-mailed 25%-off coupon Sent To Card Option)
– $1.11 (hard copy 20%-off coupon printed at Red Kiosk instore)
Final $0.43 and received 5 ECB
In my store the Venus 1ct Blue Pkg was not tagged for ECB, but worked any way!
