Rite Aid: New Load2Card Feature for Wellness+ Members

Starting September 2nd, Rite Aid Wellness+ Card holders will be able to load their +UP Rewards directly to their loyalty card.  Rite Aid is calling this their Load2Card feature.  They are the first of the major drugstores to offer this program.  There will now be no need to hold onto your +UP Rewards and fear losing them before they are redeemed!

Additionally, you can load Rite Aid and manufacturer coupons to your card.  So you’ll need to clip less coupons for a trip to Rite Aid.

You will also be able to manage your +UP Rewards online (including activating the Load2Card feature) or on your smartphones by downloading the Rite Aid mobile app.  However, if you would rather continue to have your +UP Rewards print onto your receipt, you can opt out of the Load2Card program.

Finally, if you text ‘REWARD’ to ‘RATEXT’ you will receive weekly text messages notifying you of the number and value of +UP Rewards available on your Wellness+ card.

And just as a reminder, +UP Rewards can be redeemed starting at 6AM on the day after it was earned and expires 14 days after issue.

I went to the website because I wanted to opt out of the Load2Card program and I couldn’t see how to do it. Is it not available to do until the 2nd?

“…And just as a reminder, +UP Rewards can be redeemed starting at 6AM on the day after it was earned…”
    – Is this means we can only do one transaction? If that’s the case I don’t think I like this change 🙁

    Marla,

It was noted in the press release but there is a chance that will change when the program goes live.
