I wanted to mention a new product from Lego that is available right now for little ones.
You can choose between several Lego Duplo book sets for only $12.97 each on Amazon. These are fun little interactive books to get children interested in reading. Each set comes with a book and colorful Lego Duplo bricks. The idea here is for children and parents to build along with the storyline. This looks like it would really help with comprehension and encourage task completion.

You might also want to take a look at the Lego Duplo App for iPhone or iPad. It’s completely free right now and might be something fun the kids. Each scene has 3 different animations and teaches kids about farm life and animal sounds.
I just did a House Party with these Read & Build sets last week! I really thought that they would be a little “young” for my almost 4 year old, but he really loves them! He hasn’t stopped reading the book or playing with the blocks. We’ll definitely be ordering him some more for his birthday next month!
My three year old loves these. He has a speech delay, so it’s a great time for us to interact and work on a variety of skills.
