If you have a Discover card you might consider using that to pay for Amazon purchases now through September 15th.
They are offering a free 1 day shipping upgrade when you use a Discover card to pay.
You just need to change your shipping method to one day and at checkout use coupon code: DSCVRFSP.
It should be free!
I just tried it on a new CD sod directly by amazon but it said “The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase.” Is there any way of knowing what the code can be applied to.

I believe any item you buy but are you certain you are paying with a Discover card? Sometimes my account will default back to another card I have in my account. The code is only valid if you pay with a Discover card.
I got the same error message as Erika- do you have to spend so much to use the code??
OK, just found this on Discover Site:
1. Add eligible item(s) to your Shopping Cart.
2. Ship your item(s) to a single address.
3. IMPORTANT: You must select One-Day Shipping at checkout. PRIME members: Select One-Day shipping for $3.99.
4. You must select your Discover Card as your method of payment.
5. Enter promo code “DSCVRFSP” in the “Have any gift certificates or promotional claim codes?” area and click the “Apply” button.
6. The shipping discount will be reflected in the Order Summary.
7. Enjoy free shipping on qualified items shipped to your specified address.

I followed all the directions that you entered above. Used a discover card, changed to one day shipping and entered the code. Would love to know if anyone has had any luck
Hmm. well maybe you can only pick from the eligible items they have listed underneath the details. Just click the link in the post and scroll down to see. There looks to be a ton of categories to choose from.

It directed me to the shop eligible products page. I wanted to buy a tablet so I went to computers, then i clicked on tablets, and sure enough the one I wanted was in the eligible products.
I just saved 20 bucks!!
