My Target hit 50% off for the summer seasonal clearance today. I was surprised because there were still quite a few things to choose from. My store had outdoor serving pieces, games, towels, chairs, plates and cups and more on sale for 50% off.
I scored a Pop Up for just $12 that I was pretty excited about. I also grabbed one of the little picnic baskets for $4.99 that I think will work perfectly to store all our Playdoh.
Now clearance does vary by store but you might head into your store and see what you find. You can always make a phone call just to check as well so you don’t waste a trip. Has anyone seen markdowns to 70% off yet?
AND as for the Target toy clearance. Well this year has been really odd. I feel like the sales are starting a little earlier and they are holding out at the low clearance prices for longer. My stores have held tight at 30% off for ages now. I am seeing a few things go to 50% off but really they should be marking down to 70%.
So I am thinking that maybe next week is when we will see 50% and hopefully the following week for 70%. That is just a guess of course and each store will be different. Again, you can always call and ask at your store what the toy department discount is at.
You can see the Target clearance schedule here. Most stores do mark toys down on Wednesdays.

Any idea when the inflatable pools & kiddie pools will be marked down?
Charlene says
Manu,
They started the pool toys at my store- I can’t remember if those were 30 or 50 though. They also had one or two styles of pools marked down. The majority of the pools were all stuffed in the next aisle over from the summer seasonal so they should be marking them down soon. I am surprised they haven’t started yet but I remember watching for the pool clearance last year and never spotting a good deal.

My Target had Duncan Hines cake mix with their summer clearance for some reason. Only 77 cents. I used a Target coupon I printed a couple weeks ago for $1 off a Duncan Hines cake mix and Flavor Creation packet. Don’t see that coupon on their site anymore. But the packet was 99 cents, so I got both for 76 cents! Good deal if your Target has the same!

thanks Charlene.
I’ll be on the lookout.

My kid’s favorite cereal, Krave, is having a great movie deal on certain packages purchased. Right now Krave is $2.50 each–if you buy 6 boxes you can get enough points to earn a free movie ticket. So $15.00 worth of cereal=1 movie ticket worth up to $12.00. You just need to go online and post the codes found inside the boxes.

I was also able to use 3- $1/2 coupons from previous purchases of Krave so my total was actually $12.
