Target Summer Clearance 70% off

I popped by Target this morning and as I was shopping around they started marking all the summer items to 70% off.

It was Sunday of last week that they were marking down to 50% off and I actually found an entire aisle of clearance merchandise back in the lawn and garden area today.  (Which was shocking, I thought it would all be long gone.)

They also had a random end cap of items that were not marked on clearance in the home goods sections.  I was able to grab some drink tubs for $4.99, little straw cups for the kids for $.89, a picnic basket for $2.99 and the surprise deal was huge rolls of Reynold’s Grilling Foil for $1.19.

So clearance will vary from store to store and some stores might already have sold out of everything by now.

If you are already planning a trip this might be worth checking out!  If you are not planning a trip, you can try just calling ahead to the store and ask if summer seasonal merchandise is marked down to 70% off yet.  My store is always very helpful when I do that.

PS:  If your family needs shoes you might take a look at the shoe section.  Many shoes were 50 to 70% off at my store- mostly children’s shoes.  (And I suggest scanning the shoes too because you never know when things aren’t marked properly.)

See the Target deals for the week here.

My Target in Las Vegas had 70% off. I got really cute beach towels for $2.09 and really cute picnic blanket for $5.49! Just in time for my vacation. I was so excited!!!

I scored a 12″ hot wheels bike for my son’s birthday that usually runs roughly 70 bucks for 33 and some change! We were going to buy him a bike anyway so i figure we’ll tuck it away for 2 more months till his birthday! I think that’s a fantastic deal, I didn’t even find any bikes on Black Friday for this price!!!

    Ali,

No this isn’t including housewares. This is the seasonal merchandise that Target offered which included picnic blankets, chairs, serving pieces, beach towels, toys etc…

Ours is still at 50% and there is only 1/4 of an isle left.
I picked up a couple of Hero Factory Lego sets that were marked 30% off but when I got home & looked them up, the original price was way jacked up & they were really only reduced 40cents off regular price. I didn’t know Target did that.

I went to ours this morning and the former clearance aisle was completely empty. I asked the guy where the beach towels had gone and he referred me to another area of the store where they had beach towels for $5. On the plus side, there was 1 clearance towel with them (I knew this because I had already bought similar towels) so I did score 1 70% off towel. I can’t even imagine having a clearance aisle as packed as the one picture above! That is more than my store had at 50% off!

I was there in the morning around 9.30 and they had just started marking things down. I also spotted stuff that had no clearance signs at all. I am sure by today it is probably all gone 🙂
