If CVS is a convenient stop for you, you might keep an eye out for a deal on Pillow Pets. Now this is unadvertised and varies by store so you might find the same deal I did or you might not.
The Pee Wee Pillow Pets in the piggy style are on clearance at some stores. I actually checked two stores- at one store there was a large bin of Pillow Pets and the piggy one scanned at $4.99.
The second store I checked, there was a shelf of Pillow Pets that were marked at $12.99. When I scanned them, it came up at $2.49.
I only found the Piggy to be at this price but you might grab the other animals and see if you get lucky. Note this is the Pee Wee size which are much smaller then the normal Pillow Pets.
You can get an idea of the size above- that is the Piggy with my 3 year old.
I was very happy to find this deal because I think these are going to fit in Operation Christmas Child boxes.
Remember clearance varies by store and you most likely won’t see these marked down. You actually need to take the little guy to the scanner and see if you get lucky.

Wow, white couches?! I’m impressed! I have a white Ikea chair in my bedroom and well we’ll just say I NEED to buy or make a new cover for it because my 4 year old has totally ruined it! Little girls must be neater/cleaner than little boys or you are just a super mom!

Neither actually 😛 That is the formal living room that no one uses ;). Originally it was supposed to be my office but I can’t stand looking at a desk right when I walk in the front door. Our carpet is white- an unfortunate decision the prior owners made and you should see the state of it. Horrifying… Every other surface in the house is covered in crayon, playdoh and heavens knows what bodily fluids. The front room though they never go into.
Lol, glad I’m not the only one! We bought off-white couches about 7 years ago, pre-kids and pre-dogs. Now we have green slipcovers on them that are washable and stain resistant. We have light colored carpet upstairs too. I have become best friends (not literally) with our carpet cleaning guy. Lol. He’s in our area and does a great job for a good price. Let me know if you want his number. I had to call him just last month to help me with an emergency carpet cleaning situation. Lol.
