Kraft Mac and Cheese Coupon (2 for $.19 at Walgreens!)

This post may contain affiliate links, please see my disclosure policy.

If you would like to get your mac and cheese on, you can get a Kraft Macaroni and Cheese Buy One Get One Coupon.

My Target has whole grain mac and cheese or they have organic varieties and it is usually priced pretty close to the blue boxes.

This is a Facebook coupon and you have to click “get a license for Dad” to get the coupon.  There are a limited number available so best bust a move.

Starting Sunday, Walgreens has these on sale for Buy One Get One Free ($1.79/2.) Since the coupon value is up to $1.60, you should get 2 boxes for just $.19!

I find the tie in to Dad funny on this coupon because my husband just made Annie’s mac and cheese for the kids tonight.  They decided the white enchiladas I made were disgusting and they couldn’t possibly have one single bite.  😉

Hmmm, I’ve heard of green and red enchiladas, but not white. Please elaborate! 🙂

Yumm…white chicken enchiladas are delish! I haven’t made them in awhile, though.

I used this recipe and they were awesome: http://joyful-mommas-kitchen.blogspot.com/2011/09/white-chicken-enchiladas.html

    Pam,

This is the recipe I used from “Don’t Panic Dinners in the Freezer” cookbook. I don’t eat chicken but my husband said it was really good.

What you need: 1 onion chopped, 1/2 green pepper chopped, 2 tbl butter, 2 cups cooked chicken or turkey,, 4oz green chili peppers, 3tbl butter, 1/4 cup flour, 1 tea. ground coriander, 3/4 tea salt, 2 1/2 cups chicken broth, 1 cup sour cream, 6oz Jack cheese shredded, tortillas.

This one you cook and then freeze. Cook onion and pepper in 2tbl butter until tender. Combine onion mixture with chicken and chili peppers. Set aside. Melt 3 tbl. butter, stir in flour, coriander, and salt. Stir in chicken broth all at once and cook until thick and bubbly.

Cook and stir 1-2 more min. Remove from heat. Add sour cream and 1/2 cup cheese. Stir 1/2 cup of the sauce mix into the chicken mix you set aside.

Dip tortillas into the remaining sauce and add some of the chicken filling. Roll up and place in baking dish. Pour remaining sauce over the top and sprinkle cheese. Freeze.

To serve: Thaw completely and bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
