Here are the Savemart Deals for the week. This is based on the Nor CA ad so you will want to double check your local ad for regional variations! Lucky’s Shoppers should have a very similar ad- but be sure to double check! Not all stores accept internet coupons. You might want to call ahead and check before you head out!

Did I miss anything good this week?

Just noticed this time around on the “7 days, 7 ways to save” deals that there is a minimum $5 purchase per transaction to get the deals. Does anyone know if the daily deal is included in the minimum like at Raleys/Nobhill?

found a nice little deal on Ortega chilis
They were part of the “brand challenge”, buy one, get the store brand free
1.19/ 4oz can, had a $1/2 tearpad right on display
came out to 1.38 for 4 cans of chilis
I have next week’s ad and Savemart has the same Ortega brand challenge.
Lisa P: I’ve experienced it both ways. I was able to make it part of the $5 in April at both a Lucky & Savemart, and it was before all coupons including those in-ad. At another Lucky last Monday my bananas would not discount until I added more items. I went thru U-Scan and had to leave to find more items. I wasn’t sure if the bananas had to be added last, after $5 was actually scanned. Haven’t had opportunity to test in-ad coupon lately, or go back to the original stores to see if they’re just programmed different.

Thanks for the feedback Franki. Let us know what you experience the next time you go.
I wanted to get the shrimp deal. I may just test it out on U scan since the item alone (2 lb bag) will be over $5 and I will easily tell if it is enough or not.
