Target: Gerber Mealtime Organizers $3.99

I thought I’d mention these Gerber Organizers are a pretty good deal at Target right now.

They are priced at $6.99 and it is a little meal organizer with compartments. It is dishwasher safe and there is a little space on top to put your child’s name or whatever you want.

The price drops to $3.99 like this:

Buy 2 Gerber Organizers at $6.99
Use Buy One Get One Free coupon (up to $6.00)
Pay $7.98 or $3.99 each

I use something similar for my girls for lunch and I really like these things. I can pack a variety of things for them to eat very quickly and I don’t have to deal with a zillion little baggies. They like lunchboxes so I just tuck our containers into the lunchbox with an ice pack and a drink and that is it.

This is literally a lunch I packed in like 2 minutes for us today when we were going to the park.

The little compartments allow you to put a variety of things in- if I didn’t have this container I would have needed a tupperware for the fruit, a Ziploc for the Veggie Chips and then the cheese wrapper would have come back in the lunchbox all soggy and nasty.  I have packed yogurt, applesauce, sandwiches, crackers, fruits, veggies… all sorts of things in these with no problems.   If you have kiddos that eat in the car this can be great too because you have one container and it sits flat on their lap (so less mess).

So anyhow, I am a big fan of these types of boxes and wanted to mention the deal to you as well!

You could just grab one and mix and match with another Gerber or Nuk item but at my Target the selection is really slim on Gerber.  I found silverware for $4.99 and that was about it.

Thanks so much for the great idea Charlene! My son is 19 months so I know these will be put to good use in the near future for lunches. I am also thinking that I can use them right now for his snacks so that I don’t have a bunch of different containers and baggies in the diaper bag:)

Trisha, yeah that is what I do. I hope others like them but really I find it much easier. You can use them for your own snacks too- I swear I’d lose 20 lbs if I just ate the same things I give my children!

Just was wondering if yours were leak proof? I have tried a couple, but the compartments leak into one another.

    K,

I use Lock n Lock containers and I have not had issues with leaking. I even put applesauce in once. I do yogurt too but we eat greek yogurt which is thicker.

I don’t have this one specifically so I can’t say.
