Safeway Deals 3/7-3/13

You can see Safeway’s coupon policy right here. Most stores will allow you to stack a manufacturer coupon with the store coupons that can be found in the weekly circulars. You will want to be sure to get a club card for Safeway to take advantage of the sale prices! Safeway sale prices tend to vary from region to region so you will always want to double check your local ad! Also, I do not have double coupons in my area so your prices are likely much better than mine!Be sure to read about the new Just for U program rolling out at Safeway!

This week the frozen foods promotion continues, the Buy One Get One Free Kraft cheese was on the front of my ad and there is a Starbucks promotion for those with Starbucks kiosks in store.  Buy a full price espresso drink before 11am and get a coupon on your receipt to get a second beverage for 50% off that same day after 2pm.  March 8-14 only.

I did the “Spend $15 on frozen foods items and get a catalina coupon for $5 back (Excludes bakery, meat, deli and seafood)” last week because I had a just for you price on frozen veggies. I wanted to ask, is the catalina for more frozen items, is that correct? And only certain “new” items? Just want to make sure I have that right. Thank you for your help!

For the frozen catalina, can you roll it or is this a one time cat? I’m in TX,over here ours is $5/10.This will be great if it does roll.

    Amanda,

On my transaction the thing didn’t print so I can’t say from having the thing right in front of me but from what the ad says it is only new frozen foods items.

I was hoping it would roll too but I can’t say for sure.

my personal experience was no, it didn’t roll
    but I’ve read otherwise
I’m in norcal with $15 threshold
I purchased just over $10 in “new” items and $5 in other frozen food
the $5 CAT scanned beeplessly but I didn’t get a new one
I did get others so the machine was printing

I’ve read that a lot of people have trouble using the $5CAT and it gets pushed thru and *they* get another $5CAT

On Facebook, they told me I could email
    [email protected]
for a list of the qualifying “new” items, altho I’m seeing more items tagged in the store than last week

The $5 frozen cat I got expires on Monday. I’m going today to use it. My store didn’t appear to have “new” items marked so I’ll ask when I get there.

In my Wednesday paper, there was a one-page ad for Safeway. Included a coupon for $5 off Rancher’s Reserve Tender meats. I was able to find roasts at B1G1, so netted $5 total for 4 pounds of roast!

There is a coupon in the standard ad for Safeway pizzas for $3.49. My husband loves these, and this is a good price for them. Buy purchasing three of them, you get the $5 catalina off New Products.

All told, after coupons and catalinas, I spent $32 on $109 worth of groceries! Thanks, Charlene!

I was able to find the $4/4 Kelloggs @ zip code 20006. Good luck!

Also, on the frozen food “new” items, the boxes are actually marked (printed) on the front of the box “NEW,” so some varieties of Eggos, some pizzas, etc. You’ll just have to look.

Yes the zip code listed in the post should work to find the coupon.

there are tags in the frozen section in front of the “new” items that you can use the cat for to make things a little easier.
