Now, if you are not familiar with how Big Lots works, here are the details:
- Big Lots does not accept coupons, so to get these deals you will have to price match at Target or Walmart.
- To price match at Target, you need to have the actual ad in hand and more often than not, Big Lots won’t send an ad in the Sunday paper. Walmart does not require the physical ad to price match.
- Not all Walmart stores will honor Big Lots as a competitor to price match, so it is always best to call ahead and confirm.
- The selection at Walmart and Target will vary.
- So basically your luck will really vary and your best bet on these deals is probably going to be at Walmart.

I know that Big Lots does not take coupons.
I know Walmart price matches.
But never put the 2 together before. Thank you for the fabulous idea!
I have tried price matching at Target and they no longer price match from big lots 🙁
Leslea,
I think the post mentions that. Some stores don’t consider Big Lots a competitor so it is best to call ahead and ask so you know for sure. That is up to each store though what they want to do.
