There is a great deal this week at Walmart stores on Schick Hydro Silk razors. I used to get premium razors for less then $1 all the time and now it seems like the price has gone up to about $3.00 being a fairly good deal.
So I think this deal is a very good one!
The Walmart ad for Feb 25- March 3 features a Schick Silk Hydro razor with bonus shaving cream for $5.97.
Use the $4/1 Schick coupon from 2/26 SS
Final Price: $1.97!
That is a great price for the razor alone and you get a bonus shave gel with it.
There is also the deal at Target this week to get the razors for as low as $1.49 after coupons and gift cards.
I did go to Target yesterday and I did not see these bonus pack razors. If you do find them at your store, you might be able to buy 2 of them at $5.97- use (2) $4 coupons and pay $1.97 then get back a $5 gift card.

I have a terrible habit of doing things quickly and sometimes it isn’t as clear. You will get a razor for $5.97 and minus a $4 coupon pay $1.97 for each one.
Now again I want to stress that I don’t know if there are any Target stores that carry this specific bonus pack and if they do carry it, you would need to be sure the bonus pack was included in the gift card promotion. I went to my Target yesterday and I did not see these at my store.

There is also a $1.50 off coupon at target. So if you are able to price match that would be only $ .47 each!

The Target coupon policy allows for price matching after all Target coupons have been applied. So it would actually look like this:
Target price for razor is $9.49
Target coupon for $1.50 is applied
New Total: $7.99
Price Match to $5.97
Use $4 manufacturer coupon
Pay $1.97
So in essence it is a waste of the Target coupon to use it in this deal. You can see the price match policy here:

Most stores don’t seem to be aware of their own policy so it could work but I don’t want to encourage anyone to break a coupon policy ;).

I tried to get the Hydorsilk razors bonus pack with the $4 coupon at the Manteca Walmart last night. The coupon beeped and the cashier would not accept it even after reviewing the coupon. Of course the customer service line had about 10 people in it. Anyone else have this problem or did the coupon just go thru with no issues?
MJ- my coupon went through fine but I used it at Target on the razor.

I also tried at Manteca Walmart and they wouldn’t put it thru. She kept saying I needed the refills too. The “manager” said if the computer said no then she couldn’t do anything. I love when they are so brilliant. I couldn’t even find the single razors without the shave cream in their mess of a store. It looks like they have a different barcode sticker over the actual package sticker. I wonder if that is to prevent this deal.

My friend works at that Walmart and has said that they are very “anti-coupon”. They always make me feel like I am stealing from them! I ended up going to the Manteca Target, bought 2 of the razors and used 2 manuf coupons stacked with a Target coupon and got a $5 gift card back. Plus I made friends with a cashier who is fascinated by couponing and loves when I go to her line!
