Maybe this will be more clear:

Buy 2 razors priced at $9.49
Subtotal: $18.98
Use (2) $4/1 Coupons
Pay $10.98+ tax
Get a $5.00 gift card back since you bought 2

That would make the net price $5.98 or $2.99 per razor assuming there are other items in the store that you would like to use the $5 gift card on.

When I first started couponing I could get razors for .99 or less all the time. It’s been awhile since those kind of deals, and my stockpile is almost gone. Thanks for the heads up!
