You do need the actual rebate form, the UPC off the item you buy and the receipt. You have until 3/31 to purchase your item and there is a limit of one rebate per household.
I am not aware of a printable version of this rebate form.
I read it as you can purchase all items but only one of each. Essentially, you can get up to 10 different items for free.
My rebate says (one per item, check all that apply). I read that as you can get one of each item. Do you think I am reading that wrong? If I am not, this could be a nice fat check 🙂
A correction: You don’t get only one item, you can get one of each item! Great deal! You get one of each Free! Awesome. I am going to use coupons too; who knows, they might even refund the before coupon price!
I can see how it could be read either way. That seems like quite a rebate to get 10 items free. I was looking at the bold print at the bottom that says limit 1 rebate per household. It could be all 10 items but I can’t say for sure.
I don’t see the rebate in my paper or coupons…I guess it is only available in certain areas?
Well this is what Safeway said on the Facebook page:
Safeway John, the General Mills “Try Me Free” Rebate will be available in tomorrow’s paper. You will be able to receive the rebate for up to 10 items, but you are not required to purchase all 10. We hope this helps! -Alex, Customer Support
But I don’t have a lot of faith in what these customer service people say. I guess you can buy one of each but that really seems like quite a rebate so I am not promising anything.

The GM website has a $1 off the Dulce Leche Cheerios.
At my Safeway affiliate (Tom Thumb) in DFW they had tear pad rebates for this same rebate in multiple places in the store yesterday. I saw ones on the freezer doors. So if you didn’t get the coupon in your insert you might want to check your store for tearpads.

you don’t need to post this but when i get my coupon binder out of the car i found tons of deal match ups for unadvertised sales last night at safeway most of them run till the 14th as well one to point out which was fantastic and this is why you always take your coupon binder and not just the coupons you know you’ll need 8 bar pack of irish spring soap three different varieties to choose but it was on sale for $2.99 and 2 .75 off coupons written in spanish for irish spring soap or body wash. i think i got these as a filler when i was ordering coupons to hit a certain mark anyways my safeway doubles so i got each package for $1.50 which i think is fantastic. one thing you might want to mention as well about safeways for those of us who plan our trips out safeway will not manualy add the new coupons with the double bar codes if you go through the self check out. these do not scan yet at the checkouts but apparently they just informed the stores tat they could not adjust. i like using the self checkout but my check out girl let me know ahead of time so almost all the new coupons have these but the registers are not yet up to date so just be aware. apparently a customer went through then started doing her coupons at the end and blew up at my store and custed everone out and called corporate this is the same women who apparently also bout 60 yes 60 of the POM drinks with the 1.00 off coupon. it pays to be cival and managers appreciate it my store manager gave me a closed lane last night to put my purchases on the way i wanted because i wanted to split my $75 order up for two $10 off coupons and then when i was ready i let him know and he came and rang my purchases. they are always nice to me but i treat them with respect as well they are just employees doing there job so they can have a job tommorrow . i will send a list later with the deal matchups

I didn’t see a rebate form in my San Jose Mercury News on Sunday. I also don’t see it written on the safeway facebook page. I will look in my local store to see if there is a tearpad with the rebate. sounds pretty good deal.

I actually save pictures of rebate forms I send in (via Evernote) so that I can keep track of outstanding rebates and mark them off when I receive them. After looking at the images of the front and back of the rebate card, there actually isn’t a phone number provided to check on the status. They don’t have anything beyond the PO Box where we mailed the rebate. Hopefully I’m surprised soon with a $20 rebate check in the mail. 🙂

I researched this a little more by contacting GM directly, and they refered me to safeway. I spoke with an awesome customer service lady there who told me that they don’t have a number either, but she was able to give me the following information: only about 16% of the rebates have been processed so far. She said she will be getting back to me by friday with more information. So at least we know they are still working on them.

I am happy to say mine arrived a few days ago! Keep holding the faith it WILL get there! If you are concerned call Safeway directly to find out more. Their customer service people helped me find out that mine was indeed recieved, and being processed.
I have sent a rebate on 2/17th, but haven’t received yet. It seems like taking long to recieve it. I am just going to look forward to it!!!
But I would like to ask everyone that if anyone has sent recalled medicines to Novartis? I have sent all my bottles which qualified to get money back on 1/19th , but still waiting…. anyone?!

I’ve sent my rebate form with all the required attachments back on September, 2012. I still didn’t received a rebate check and there is no a contact number to call.
