Annie, it is subject to interpretation. My opinion is to use it on the items pictured though. So Wheat Thins for sure would work.
i got a couple of the small boxes of regular Oreos too
But then how are people getting the boxes of oreos if it’s not pictured???!?
Annie, as I said the coupon is subject to interpretation. I personally feel it is supposed to be used for the items pictured so I will buy the items pictured. If you read the coupon as any Nabisco item you are welcome to try to use it on whatever it is you want. So ultimately you need to decide what you feel is ethical in using your coupons. I have found that when coupons are not used properly, the companies stop issuing them. So I would rather buy Teddy Grahams and make sure more coupons come around 😉
I tried to use the $3/3 Nabisco coupon yesterday at Target on 3 $1 snack cups. The register would only take off $1 even though the coupon was for $3. Anyone else have an issue with this matchup?
Jessica, the coupon says $3 and as long as you had 3 items, the cashier should have been able to adjust the value. You can always take issues like that to customer service as well where they are typically a little faster to help.
Thanks Charlene – the cashier looked at me like I had 2 heads! I will go to CS next time. I even made sure to buy Teddy Grahams as that was the pic on the coupon.
I actually called the compaby about this coupon, and I was told that it can be used on any Nabisco product.
Colleen, thank you for your feedback. I still read it as participating items only and not any Nabisco product. If it was for any Nabisco product it would say any Nabisco product and not participating brands. That is my opinion and if yours is different, it is up to you to do what you think is right. I find customer service people don’t always have a full grasp of the question or an understanding to really give you a correct answer. I bet if 10 people called they would get 10 different answers ;).
I got really frustrated at Target trying to use this coupon. I tried to get the snack cups of teddy grams at target that were $1.00. The casher and manager told me I couldn’t use them because it was only for the items pictured and it was boxes pictured. She also said “well that would make them free and I can’t give you things for free that is wrong” Ugg!
