Target: Playdoh, Uncle Bens and Skinny Cow

Here are a few more deals for Target stores. These are all unadvertised deals so you may find some variation at your store.

Playdoh 24ct Fridge pack $12.99
Use $5/1 Target coupon
Final Price: $7.99 (that works out to $.33 per can. The mega packs at Walmart work out to $.27 per can so a slightly better deal.)

Uncle Ben’s Ready Rice Brown Rice $1.69
Use $1/2 Uncle Ben Whole Grain Brown Rice Product printable
Final Price: $1.19 each

I don’t think this coupon is printing anymore. For those that printed it previously, I think this will work:

Buy 2 Skinny Cow Candy at $3.99
Use Buy One Get One Free Skinny Cow coupon (up to $3.48)
and Use $3/2 Target coupon
Final Price: $1.50 for 2 boxes

you can also get a better deal if you take walgreen ad to price match at target.

Kim, the target price match policy is to do a price match after all Target coupons are applied. But many stores don’t seem to be aware of or follow the policy ;) .

I still have my B1G1 coupons since my CVS didn’t carry them when the deal was B1G1. Do I need more candy in my house? No. I just got a gym membership, but if I head back out we will see.

Charlene, could you use the $1 off one skinny cow coupon too?

jenn January 23, 2012 at 6:40 AM

If I’m understanding this right, I can take a target coupon to Walmart and Walmart will honor it. Is that right? (I’m specifically referencing the play doh)

I purchased 3 of the Uncle Bens rice last night and got a catalina coupon for $1.25 off 5 more. My husband likes these for work so I will be going back.

Can you stack the Target coupon and the maufacturer coupon at Target? They look like it would work together.

Rebekah C. January 23, 2012 at 8:31 AM

I meant the playdough coupons ;)

Charlene January 23, 2012 at 8:36 AM

Rebekah, yes you can but the two playdoh coupons I posted are not the same thing. One is for a 24ct fridge pack and the other is for a 36 ct mega pack so you can’t use them on the same item. If you did find a MQ for the fridge pack you could stack it with the Target coupon.

Charlene January 23, 2012 at 8:39 AM

Jenn, you mean on the fridge pack? The price match policy doesn’t say specifically they will take coupons from competitors… I know they will price match in ad coupons but those are in the sales ad and say a specific price… So I am not really sure I guess is my answer ;) .

Sarah, The coupon policy isn’t really clear on how a BOGO coupon will work. It says in the event of a BOGO sale- you may use a coupon on the free item as long as it is the opposite. So a BOGO Target sale you can use a manufacturer coupon on the free item but you could not use a Target coupon on the free item. I hope that makes sense- so since they don’t have a specific policy on the BOGO coupons I am going to just follow the BOGO sale and say no.

You have a manufacturer coupon so the Target coupon should be ok but an extra Manufacturer coupon should not be used on the free item… That is my opinion though and is not specifically stated in the policy so you can always ask.

They explain it here if that is confusing:

Thanks so much, Charlene! I was able to get 4 boxes of Skinny Cow for a total of only $1.98. That’s less than $0.50 per box! The hubby and I like Skinny Cow A LOT, so I’m very glad to get a good deal on them.

It looks like there’s a $1/3 Uncle Ben’s ready rice coupon on the Target site. Does anyone know if this is a Target coupon or manufacturer?
