There is a new Target coupon for $1 off Market Pantry boxed Mac & Cheese.
The only note I can see on the coupon is that it excludes single serve sizes. I found two boxed mac and cheese at my store:
Market Pantry Mac and Cheese $.52
Market Pantry Deluxe Shells and Cheese $1.79
Use $1/1 Target coupon
Final Price: Free- $.79 each!
The smaller box mac and cheese is 2.5 servings so it should qualify for the coupon.
Has anyone used this coupon yet? I’d love to hear if you had any issues or if it went right through for you.

I have a quick question; if you use buy two of the Market Pantry mac and cheese for 52 cents each, would the coupon for $1.00 off just give you one box for free or would it take off a $1.00 anyway. This would give you two boxes for 4 cents. Just asking…I have four kids that love their mac and cheese, plus we are almost out and are on a tight budget:)

tm,
I am not sure. If the coupon scans, it will likely automatically adjust to the cost of the item to make it free. If the coupon does not scan and has to be punched through that would technically be $.52 but many cashiers just enter the coupon value. So I dunno is my answer :).

I went this morning and got 2 boxes free with no problems. Since it’s a Target coupon, it just adjusts the value of the product to zero and there’s no overage (with manufacturer’s coupons, usually Target gives you the overage since it comes off at the end, but Target coupons usually just adjust the price of the item). Free mac and cheese is the ultimate in our house – thanks!
Charlene says
Amy, that was my thought that it would adjust but if the coupon didn’t scan for the .52 boxes it would need to be entered by the cashier in which case it could go either way. So at least now we know for sure.

I bought 6 boxes this morning (3 computers) I actually would have rather gotten the more expensive kind but all they had were the .52 boxes. All 6 went through just fine no beeps, coupon adjusted down to .52.
Christina says
So if you have three computers and print out 3 coupons, can you use all three coupons in the same transaction??
Christina says
And would it work this way for all other coupons??
Charlene says
Christina. probably you can but you need to learn the policy at your store. The coupons all say limit of one per transaction so if they want to limit you they certainly can. Usually people with reasonable transactions won’t have an issue (3 boxes not 35 boxes). Most stores don’t enforce that limit but if yours are sticklers or they have had issues in the past with shelf clearing and such they certainly might.
