Target: 10ct Sharpie Markers $3.50

Starting Sunday 15th Target will have 10 ct Sharpie markers for $5.00. You can print a $1.50/1 Sharpie 10ct marker coupon* right now that would make these just $3.50 each!

You might want to grab that Sharpie coupon while you can- mine doesn’t expire until 2/4.

That makes each marker just $.35.  These are great to grab to pass along to your child’s teacher or hold onto them to add to a gift basket at the end of the year.

**

On another note, I posted Sharpie markers from Staples for $3.00 last weekend.  I ordered (2) packs myself and got them in the mail this week.  I have heard from some of you that had orders cancelled.  Apparently Staples also offered a credit of $5.00 in addition to refunding the money so excellent customer service!  This Target deal isn’t quite as good as the Staples deal but a great alternate offer if your order was cancelled.

*Click on the Bullseye Bodega logo at the top of the page to find the coupon.

and I feel– we go hosed !!! I had 5 other friends that ordered and we all go the email saying we got the credit– I’m sorry, there’s no SHARPIE shortage (clearly with the Target deal coming up) they should honor that price and do a b/o or state that in the very beginning that is only for a certain amount.

Wendi, you got a refund and a $5 credit? So just wait for the next time they offer them on sale. I am sure there are circumstances that prevented them from filling all the orders. It could have been a special purchase deal made with the manufacturer and they can’t get any more… who knows. I don’t think these companies do this on purpose in the hopes of making people angry ;). It is frustrating though that these companies don’t seem to have better inventory tracking and response times. They should have been able to update them as out of stock much sooner.

That $5 credit is not a credit on Staples.com – they REFUNDED $5 to my credit card! Crazy! I was impressed with the service, needless to say – great job Staples!

Oh wow! So you got $5 back and a refund of the $3 for $8 total or you just got $5 back? Either way that is even better than I thought!

I got the refund plus de $5.00 and I had ordered 2 so I got $16.00 back.

Charlene- this is what the email said..

We apologize again for our failure in accepting your order for Sharpie markers last week which we could not fulfill.  As we do not have access to sufficient supplies to honor all of the orders, we will not be issuing any backorders or extending the price on the Sharpie special.  However, to make up for the inconvenience, we are crediting the account you used $5 for each pack you attempted to order.  We hope you will consider using this credit at Staples for a future order.

I have not checked my card yet but will let you know when I do.

I ordered two packages. I got one package in the mail and a $5 credit for the package they were out of stock on.

The Staples refund was a total of $5.00. They never charged me for the Sharpies, so I basically made $5.00. They cancelled the order before they would have charged me the $3. I thought they were great about customer service for that deal not working for a lot of people.

Is that Sharpie coupon on the Target website? I’m not finding it.

Yes they did credit the original amount of $6 + tax plus (2 packs) an individual $10 to whatever type of account you paid with. I recieved the $10 credit yeasterday. Great CS. The must of heard about the JCP fiasco and wanted to nip everything in the bud before people got upset. lol. This is cool that they did it to your checking account/card instead of making it Staples specific. I am going to spend it at Staples because if I didn’t it would feel like stealing to me.

I had no idea they were crediting the account used to pay – I thought it was a Staples credit…….I just checked my account and since I purchased three pkgs I received a $15.00 credit in my acct! Wow can’t believe it!

Thats awesome that they’re doing that. I just checked my account too and they credited me $10 for the two packs I bought, but my card still doesn’t shows the $6.50 + amount that was deducted for the initial purchase of two packs. It hasn’t been refunded to my card, maybe that’s taking a bit longer…I’ll keep an eye out for it.

I just received my Sharpies from Staples and I’m so excited about them! I originally ordered 2 packs of ultra fine tip and 1 fine tip. Then I got an email saying they were out of ultra fine and would be crediting me $5…But when I got my package they had sent me 2 packs of the fine tip and I was only charged $1.08 for both! I guess they just deducted the $5 automatically. So happy with their service!
