Heck! I’m a single mom of two young boys and every penny counts. I bought 2 packages and I know it’s only a few cents, but when it’s added to my already existing cash back, it doesn’t hurt….
Amber that is great and I understand watching pennies. I was just saying I usually don’t take the time myself to search out cash back when it is literally pennies. I always get reminded that I have forgotten the cash back on deals like this and I was just explaining why I don’t post it. If it is worth the extra few minutes for you to do, by all means go for it.

Beth, this was posted yesterday morning. As I mentioned in the post it was only available one day so this ended yesterday.
Ah, well I receive these very late… like a day late. I received it at 1208 pm today ;((
Beth, the newsletter has a set time it needs to go out. I can only put it for certain hours of the day- so it goes out at 12pm PST and 3pm EST. That way people on the East Coast catch it before the end of the workday. That means that anything I find and post after 12pm will not go out until the following day’s newsletter. So you are getting things correctly, you just don’t see anything posted in the afternoon and evening until a day later. I usually get up at 6am PST just so I can post super heavy in the am to try and get as much in before 12 as possible. I wish I could set it to go out at like 1 and 4pm but I don’t have that option.
Bummer, that explains why I don’t see a lot of stuff until too late 🙁
I just got an email from Staples that my order for the Sharpie markers has been cancelled. It says “this item is unavailable for order at this time”. 🙁
Someone said that on Facebook too. Disappointing since it was right on the front page of the weekly ad. Nothing fishy at all about that deal. I wonder how many orders they will cancel. Hopefully some people will get them. I ordered 2 packs and haven’t seen anything in my inbox yet.

Heidi- sometimes they just take more orders than they can fill. No it doesn’t happen that often- I posted probably 1000 deals easily in Dec and a total of 2 had issues. People usually get pretty upset about the ones that don’t work out and then I will have a million comments angry with me and then every deal for the next few months someone will pipe up and remind me of the one that was a stinker ;). It happens. There will be another deal that comes along so I look at it like I went to the store and the shelf was empty on something. It is what it is. Another deal will come along :).
My order was canceled 🙁
They cancelled my order too. Since these were set to be delivered to my home “by Staples courier,” I can’t help but be a bit skeptical that perhaps a store might cancel an order for a $3 deal since that wouldn’t be worth their time to send a driver out. If they were really out of stock then why not just say its back ordered and delay the delivery? Oh well.
I did get my order today. I ordered one pack of 2 types and they both came. Not sure why some people didn’t get their order- my guess is they ran out long before they updated with an out of stock.

I didn’t receive mine either and got the cancelation email and it said processing through my checking account and not the usual waiting for authorization hold and I ordered to packs as well. Called customer service and she said it shouldn’t go through but if it does process through they will credit it back. SHE ALSO SAID ALL THOUGHS THAT ORDERED THEM SHOULD SEE A $5 CREDIT PER PACK FOR THE ORIGINAL DISCOUNT THEY OFFERED SO MINE IS $10 TO OUR ACCOUNTS SO THAT WE CAN STILL PURCHASE THEM LATER OR IN STORE AND NOT BE PAYING MORE OUT OF OUR POCKETS. SO WAIT A FEW DAYS AND LETS HOPE THIS SHOWS IN OUR ACCOUNTS. We all know thats buisnesses take the $ out the same day but it takes almost a week to get a credit back so wait a few days and see.
