You can see Safeway’s coupon policy right here. Most stores will allow you to stack a manufacturer coupon with the store coupons that can be found in the weekly circulars. You will want to be sure to get a club card for Safeway to take advantage of the sale prices! Safeway sale prices tend to vary from region to region so you will always want to double check your local ad! 1. My ad shows a $10 catalina when you spend $75 in one transaction on Wed-Sun only. You will want to check the ad for the exclusions- money orders, gift cards, dairy items etc… This should print before manufacturer coupons are applied but each time they offer these rewards the rules seem to change. So we won’t know if this is before coupon or after coupon until people start shopping on Wednesday.
2. There are a bunch of Buy One Get One Free condiments this week. None of the prices are listed and in my experience Safeway tends to price items very high when they are Buy One Get One Free.
3. There is a promotion running- get $1 off a Starbucks Grande beverage from 2/2-2/5 after 2pm only. Obviously this is only at Starbucks kiosks inside Safeway stores.

Allison you need to buy select varieties of Ocean Spray and you get a cherry one free. Let’s just say you decide to buy Cranberry Juice:

Get a Free Cherry Juice <---- Safeway is giving that to you free Now you paid for 2 Cranberry juices so you can also use the Buy One Get One Free coupon. Since the Buy One Get One Free coupon requires that you buy one Cranberry to get a Cherry free. So you bought (2) Cranberry which means you can use (2) of the Buy One Get One Coupons. At least that is how it makes sense to me.

I got my $10 oynso, but only paid $63 after coupons. So it appears to be printing for any transaction over $75, before coupons. Yeah!
The coupon is for a free cherry juice so you would actually have to buy 1 any flavor juice plus two cherry juices. You get one for free from safeway and on free with your coupon
My safeway in sacramento accepts all of the real ca coupons for their lucerne products whether it has a seal or not. they said that they all are made in ca
Rachel, I haven’t printed the coupon but other readers said the coupon was Buy a Cranberry Juice and get a Cherry free. If it doesn’t specify Cranberry and says you can buy any variety of juice the scenario is different.

Wouldn’t it be pay for two, get 4 free on the Ocean Spray? If I buy 6, two will be free with the promotion, and two more would be free if I used two B1G1 coupons?
Betsy, the ad states that certain varieties are included and you get a free cherry when you purchase those varieties. My understanding is that the coupon is buy a cranberry and get a cherry free? I will not be home until about 7.30 tonight so I can not print it to confirm until that time. So you are saying you would like to use a Buy One Get One Free coupon on the two you actually pay for plus the one that Safeway is giving you for free? That won’t work IF the coupon is indeed what the other readers said- Buy a Cranberry and get a Cherry free because you aren’t “buying” a Cranberry. The 3rd one you are getting is Cherry flavor not Cranberry flavor. If the coupon just says buy any Ocean Spray and get a Cherry free then you would in theory be able to do that, however at Safeway it is against the coupon policy to use a coupon on a free item. So you could try it and see if you get 3 for free but you would be violating the coupon policy so I don’t suggest it. Let me know if I misunderstood what you were saying.
Hi Charlene, the coupon does state, b1g 1 cherry (any kind of cherry) for free. I’m thinking that I can buy two cranberry and four cherry and use the two B1G1 free coupons on the two cranberry that I purchased to get the four cherry for free. Two would be free from the promotion and the other two would be free from the coupon. Hope this doesn’t sound even more confusing! 🙂

1. Ocean Spray- you pay for that

3. Free Cherry from Safeway
4. You are getting a free one with a coupon <--- Must be Cherry flavor 5. You are getting another free one with a coupon <---- Must be Cherry flavor 6. You think you will get a 6th one free since you "bought" two more free with coupons Well the promotion says you need to buy xyz flavors to get a free one. So the 2 free ones you buy with coupons need to be part of whatever varieties it says qualify. But the coupon says the free one you get with coupon is cherry flavor. From what I saw on the ad the cherry flavor is the one you get free but it is not one of the flavors you can buy to get a 3rd one free. So I still don't think it will work but this is giving me a migraine so maybe. I guess you have to try it and see. 😉
Just got back and the Ocean Spray worked as I had hoped. Bought 2 Cranapple (2/$5) and 4 cherry and only paid for two. So, I got 6 bottles for $5! Thanks Charlene for all your hard work. I also picked up the free Pom and look forward to trying that!
My printed Ocean Spray coupon says “one coupon per transaction” in the fine print…
In the pull out ad they have Jennie O frozen burgers for $5.99. Coupon.com just came out with a $2 off any Jennie O Frozen turkey burger coupon. I found under 60060, so that drops the price to $3.99. What a great price!!
