If you haven’t been to Old Navy in awhile, you might want to head over and have a look.
I stopped by today to use my Groupon’s and they had a bunch of clearance stuff for 75% off. My store was pretty empty actually but I still scored a bunch of great deals.
I got cargo pants for my husband for $15.99 and then I was super excited to find a bunch of kid’s pj’s for just $1.97! There were only a few styles available at this price- including Star Wars for little guys and Snow White for girls.
I always look for pj’s this time of year because the Sleep Train does a pj drive for Foster Children until 2/26.
So I had (2) Groupons totaling $20 each. I did 2 transactions and got Cargo Pants, (2) Minnie Mouse Christmas Shirts for next year $.47 each, (4) little girls shirts for $.97 each, 1 dress for $1.97, 5 pairs of socks at $1 each, and 7 pairs of children’s pj’s to donate for $1.97 each!
My grand total for all that was $2.58 + $11.63- after those Groupons. Considering we usually pay $30 for my husband’s cargo pants I was pretty excited about that.
Again, clearance will vary considerably from store to store but it might be worth a quick look.

You might call ahead to check your store before you head out.
Thanks for posting this! I am always on the lookout for PJ’s to stock up on. I’m a foster mom and this is one thing my foster kids ALWAYS need. What a great organization to donate all your extra PJ’s to! I wish we had something like that in my area.
Amanda, I was kind of debating if I wanted to keep them for Operation Christmas Child boxes as well. That would be another option although that organization is not for Foster kids. I like to include clothing in those boxes and really what could make you feel happier than nice new comfy jammies.

hi, I also wanted to look at clearance in general for next year, but my kids are 1 and 3 and I am worried that i will buy something the wrong size or not their taste next year, does it generally work?
Ameena, we are planning a Disney trip for next Christmas so I am sure Minnie will be OK with them. My little girl is 4 and she is terribly opinionated so I have to be careful. My 2 yo is far less opinionated so I can get away with more. I try to stick to basics and I don’t buy tons of stuff. Things like PJ’s are pretty safe bets though. Also, at these kinds of prices I am not that worried. If they hate Minnie Mouse next year, I can always tuck the shirt into a donation bin and I am only out $.47 and I made some other child’s day.
Was this an additional 75% of clearance? They had 75% off items throughout the store when I was there the other day, so I am wondering if that’s what you got. I can’t wait until their 50% off clearance . I get stuff for around $1.00/ item when I go to stock up for next year.
t- The items were priced as marked. I saw signs up everywhere saying 75% off and then I checked the Facebook wall to be sure this would be everywhere. This si what it said:

So I don’t know how much longer it will last. You might call ahead tomorrow before you go and ask.
FYI I called today for No. Cal and 75% off clearance did end yesterday and it is now at 50% off.
The 20% off coupon is not good on clearance. Says in the fine print after you print it.
