If you haven’t been to Target in a few days, it might be worth a quick phone call. My store has all Christmas items for 70% off now. There was actually quite a bit today and I seem to have gotten carried away with the premium wrapping paper which was marked down to $1.50/roll. (Not cheap at all but this stuff is so gorgeous I think it is worth it.)
My store had the entire stocking stuffer area, a lot of Archer Farms food products (my favorite the chocolate dipped pretzel rods were $1.49)… stockings and a lot more.
Every store will be slightly different so you can always just call ahead and ask them if they have things marked down 70% yet.
Make sure you look all around too- one of my stores has an aisle several rows away with Smith and Hawkin items that are also on clearance.
I did peek over at the toy area and my store had most stuff at 30% off and a small aisle with items at 50% off.

Any idea when CVS or Rite Aid is going to have 75% off??
I was just there, and it was kind of a mad house, but as you said, most Christmas stuff was marked down to 70%. I bought a tree, several felt “ornaments” in a heart shape (red, white, purple, and pink) for Valentine’s Day cards/crafts, mittens and hats in the dollar section ($.30/each!), and some pink sparkly santa hats (also the dollar section – put away for future baby gifts).
Yes…I was just there, I found several items for $1.49: Chelsea (Barbie dolls), small Cinderella plastic dolls, Dora change purses, Lip Smacker sets, Hot Wheels etc.
I forgot to mention they also had the Christmas Dozen mini cup-cakes for $0.89! My kids love them!
LOL- Ronni I attacked the lady in front of me for the little Cinderella dolls :). I love those to tie on the front of presents for birthday parties. She abandoned a few of hers so we got 2 of them. The lip glosses are perfect for Easter Baskets.
We got those too. The cookies were .89. Totally not what I would buy normally but the girls are so excited you’d think it was Christmas again ;).
got 30 3pk tapes! only .90 cents each!
LOL- I got those too but I only got 1 pack.
My trip today:
~3pk tape= .90 cents
~1 double sided tape= .90
~Scotch gift wrapping set= $1.70 (w/coupon)
~Betty Crocker Snickerdoodle or Gingerbread Cookie Mix= .11 cents (w/ coupons)
~Solo Cups or Plates= .14 cents (w/ coupons)
~Replacement bulbs= .23 cents
~9ft “tap” Cord (nice for x-mas trees)= $1.79
~7ft unlit Christmas Tree= $18
My store was down to 70% off, but it was pretty well picked over. Not much left.
I did get a couple of bottles of Jelly Belly scented bubbles for the summer months (or maybe in an Easter Basket), and a Holiday Puzzle (stocking stuffer for next year). The bubbles were $0.80 each and the puzzle was $1.
My store had quite a bit of holiday wrapping supplies available (paper, bags, tags, bows, etc…) but I am not in need of that this year. I have gone a bit overboard in past years on clearance holiday wrapping supplies, so I am stocked up for a while and just avoid that aisle!! ๐
