There are several new Savingstar coupons available right now. It is always best to save them to your card while you can because they do reach limits. Here are just a few highlights:
These are not so much coupons but more like rebates so it really works out to be a great deal. You load them to your store loyalty cards with just a click and then once you buy the item you get a rebate check.
There are only certain stores that participate- some grocery chains and then drugstores like CVS.
You can read about Savingstar here- if you are already familiar with them you can head over to save your new coupons!

Here are some hit movies available to rent for just $1.99. You only have to purchase them by 1/1/12 but you actually get 30 days to watch. Once you hit play you typically have 24 hours in total to actually watch the movie. Once you hit play and that 24 hours expires, your movie simply goes away. No late fees!

If a trip to CVS is convenient for you, you might keep an eye out for the following clearance deals.
Now clearance will vary considerably from store to store so you may not find this at all, but if you do these items should count toward your Beauty Club so that is an added bonus.
Herbal Essences Shampoo, $1.12
-$1/2 Herbal Essence or Aussie product, excl trial size, PG 11/27 (exp 12/31)
Final Price: $.62
Pantene Shampoo, $1.49
-$3/2 Pantene product, excl trial size, PG 11/27 (exp 12/31)
Final Price: Free!
Head and Shoulders $1.89
*There seems to be an unadvertised $2 ECB on this so you might get really lucky.
-$1/2 Head & Shoulders shampoo or conditioner, excl trial size, RP 12/11
Final Price: $1.39
So again you may not find any of these deals at all but you have to hustle because those coupons expire on Saturday. I am not sure exactly which varieties of shampoo/conditioner are on clearance. If you don’t see any of them marked, you might just scan a few bottles and see what you find!
(Thanks Southern Savers!)

I was really annoyed about this deal a few days ago because I knew it was coming and then the darn thing sold out pretty much before I was even awake the next day.
So I am going to go ahead and give you advance notice that this will be available starting around 6am EST 12/30. If you are a West Coaster like me, I really hope it isn’t sold out by the time we are up and online.
Here is the deal- for $28.00 you will get a $20 Starbucks gift card plus (2) movie ticket vouchers to redeem at Fandango.
The movie tickets are valued at $24 so this is a really good deal.
Both vouchers will come via email (I have used Starbucks e-certificates before and you just print them out and use it each time you go or I believe you might be able to add it to an existing gift card. You can also use it online.)
Here is the fine print:
- Both tickets must be purchased together in the same transaction for the same movie and showtime
- Excludes IMAX movies
- Promo Code is valid only for Internet purchases made at www.fandango.com for Fandango partner theaters located in the U.S.
- Promo Code cannot be redeemed directly at any of Fandango’s partner theaters, via Fandango’s telephone service or through any other website operated by third-party merchants accessible from the Fandango website
- Fandango voucher must be redeemed at Digital Doorstep by April 1, 2012. Fandango e-gift card must also be used by that date.
Again, this offer may not be available until sometime tomorrow morning but you should be able to purchase the vouchers here.

There is a Pure and Natural coupon available for $1.50 off the soap or the body wash. I love these products and you don’t see coupons come along very often.
I used to see the hand soap at Target and they seem to have discontinued it at my store. I have seen it at Rite Aid on sale or they should have these products at Kroger. Publix, HEB, Meijer or Kmart.
*Try zip code 30033 to find the coupon.

So here is my shopping trip for the week. I didn’t use a lot of coupons because I mostly bought fresh stuff but if you are interested in how I stretch my $50 budget, here is what I did.
I just went to Sprouts this week.
4 bags of Pretzel Crisps $3.99/2 = $7.98
Dried Blueberries $2.28
Almonds from the bulk bins $2.58
32oz Brown Cow Yogurt $2.99- used a $.55/1 Real CA Dairy coupon= $2.44
Organic Milk $5.69
2 boxes Van’s Waffles $2.00- used (2) $1.50 coupons= $1.00
1 box apple crisp topping $1.50
2 pints Blackberries = $3.00
5lbs clementines $2.99- used $1 coupon= $1.99
2 bell peppers= $1.76
2 bags organic carrots =$3.38
3lbs organic apples $2.99
1 package organic salad mix $4.99
3 mangos= $2.64
Shredded Carrots $1.49
Mushrooms $1.29
Subtotal $47- I used a $5 off store coupon so $42.00. I also paid with a gift card that I purchased previously- this store sells $100 gift cards for $89 every few months. Since the gift card was 10% off, I take 10% off and the final amount is about $38.
Since I try to spend $50 each week, that leaves me $12 to spend. We are actually getting low on meat in the freezer so I need to start looking at stocking back up.
Since I have been using coupons and buying a little extra when things are super cheap for a few years now, we don’t typically need a lot of things like cleaners and toiletries. I have most of it on hand already. So not very exciting but my goal each week is to get what we need on budget and to spend the least amount of time possible to do it.

So there will be a whole ton of coupons coming in the Sunday paper and I know some of you are antsy for these! This would be a great week to buy an extra copy or two of the paper if you can swing it.
There should be a total of 5 inserts this weekend- 2 RedPlum, 2 SmartSource and 1 P&G. Be sure to check your paper and confirm you got the coupons you want before you buy extra copies!
The highlights include a $2.15 Finish coupon, the Nivea coupons and of course the P&G has good ones like $2 off Tide. Plus some areas will get Pepsi and Sierra Mist coupons!
See the complete Sunday Coupon Preview for 1/1 here.
