Free $5 Amazon Video on Demand Credit

There are two promotions right now to get a free $5 credit to Amazon Video on Demand.

I think I have posted this before but it is still available through 3/31. If you are a new customer to Amazon Video on Demand, you can get a free $5 credit.

The $5 credit will get you a free rental of a new release movie or several movies depending on what you choose. Amazon offers hit movies (which I post all the time) for just $.99 and then you buy them and you have 30 days to watch the movie.

This is a great deal and from what I can see there are no strings attached.

The second promotion is if you register a streaming device (Vizio HDTVs and Blu-ray players, Samsung HDTVs, Panasonic HDTVs and Blu-ray players, and Roku streaming players.)

Once you register the device, you should also get a $5 Amazon Video on Demand credit.

(Thanks Southern Savers)

How do can you be sure you’ll get the $5 credit for being a new customer? I downloaded a digital copy of a movie that came with the blu-ray I got but I haven’t ordered a video on demand. I am not finding anything about a credit anywhere.

Laurie what happens when you click the link in the post? If you are a new customer the information will come up. If you have already rented a movie in the past it will say you have already rented a movie.

I’m thinking the new customer promotion has ended. When you click the link in that portion of the post, there is no information about a $5 credit for new customers. I have never ordered anything and see nothing. But when you click the link about registering a streaming device, the credit information is very obvious.
