CVS: Zhu Zhu Pets $1.00

I just got a new email from CVS and it looks like they are offering Zhu Zhu pets for $1 all week.

I can’t tell if this is nationwide but if you are interested you might stop by and have a look. ย I have heard that the original sale- which was Buy One Get One Free is overlapping with the $1 price.

Again, I can’t say how this will work at every store but it might be worth taking 2 up to the cash register to see what they come up at.

I didn’t make it over to CVS on Saturday to get the coupon for these, but reader JJ said when he went to redeem his coupon it actually took off an entire $8 from his transaction.

You can see the CVS deals for the week here.

I took one Zhu Zhu pet up to the register, and my cashier told me to go get another $8-9 worth of Zhu Zhu pets or pet accessories because it $8.99 off of my total. I ended up getting 3 Zhu Zhu pets, 2 Zhu Zhu pet outfits, and a $0.99 candy for $1.18!

Ashley, was that with the coupon from Saturday or did you get a coupon today?

On Saturday I got one (with CVS coupon) and bought the three packs of soda (with CVS coupon), and the combos and paid $1 and some change OOP (no ECBs) and got back $2 for the combos. The $8.99 came off my total order and I didn’t have to buy the pets or accessories.

How could you use the zhu zhu cvs coupon but not buy a zhu zhu?

I went just a little while ago and I was able to get four of them without any coupons for $1 each but they wouldn’t let me have the B1G1 deal. They said I could only get them at $1 each.

The lady at the store gave me the coupons that two others left. I got aprox 18.00 off my stuff. I couldn’t figure out why I had to get more stuff until I got home. I ran back and got my soda deal when I didn’t have enough to use my RR! We checked the red machine again and it gave me a coupon for 1.00 off two seasonal bags of m&ms today.

my boyfriend got 2 zhu zhu pets only, and they rang up at a buck each….the cashier said the computer wouldnt take his coupon so she manually entered the B1G1 and he paid $1.07 for 2 pets.

I purchased 2 pets, a newspaper and the 3 – 12 packs of coke for 8 bucks with that coupon and the zhu zhu pets coupon took care of my entire purchase so I paid zilch….i should have checked out first! then I would’ve sent my boyfriend back to buy more stuff for his coupon to cover! ๐Ÿ™‚

Do you have to have a coupon for this deal?

Madison- it would be fraud to use the coupon when you don’t have the item in your transaction. Why not just buy one and donate it. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I don’t think Madison was proposing to use the coupon without buying a pet. I think she misread Lindsey’s post and thought Lindsey didn’t get one.

I think Madison is referring to Lindsey’s comment.

Charlene – Madison was basically questioning the previous poster, Lindsey, about her statement that she didn’t have to buy the toy but yet still was allowed to use her coupon. The coupon should not have been used… ๐Ÿ™

Oh LOL- sorry! I see comments as they come through not in a thread like you guys do. I thought she asked how to use a coupon without buying the item it was intended for ๐Ÿ™‚

No, I bought the toy but didn’t have to buy accessories like the first person to eat up the extra money. Sorry!
