Big Lots: Cheap Rayovac Batteries

Remember that Big Lots does not accept coupons, but you can take your ad to Walmart or possibly Target to have them do a price match and use your coupons there. If you are not familiar with how this works there are details at the bottom of this post.

This week Big Lots will have select Rayovac Batteries for less than a $1 after rebate! This is one where you will probably need to head into Big Lots to buy them.  And from experience, you will need to ask the cashier for the rebate form.

Rayovac Heavy Duty AA or AAA 8pk or 9V 4pk Batteries – $1.90
Submit for $1 Mail-In Rebate (not available in RI or CT)
Final Price: $0.90

Big Lots also has Rayovac Rechargeables on sale as well. There is not a rebate involved with these so you might want to price match them at either Target or Walmart so you can use $3/1 Rayovac Rechargeables coupon that is currently available.

Here’s the deal:
Rayovac Rechargeable AA 4pk Batteries – $6
Use $3/1 Rayovac Rechargeables Printable
Final Price: $3.00

And finally, Big Lots also has a Charger with 4pk of Batteries set this week for $8.00.

***********

Now, if you are not familiar with how Big Lots works, here are the details:

  • Big Lots does not accept coupons, so to get these deals you will have to price match at Target or Walmart.
  • To price match at Target, you need to have the actual ad in hand and more often than not, Big Lots won’t send an ad in the Sunday paper. Walmart does not require the physical ad to price match.
  • Not all Walmart stores will honor Big Lots as a competitor to price match, so it is always best to call ahead and confirm.
  • The selection at Walmart and Target will vary.
  • So basically your luck will really vary and your best bet on these deals is probably going to be at Walmart.

Also, for your readers who have access to an Ingles grocery store (common in the South), they currently have Rayovac Alkaline AA and AAA 4 pks on sale 5/$5 ($1 ea) so with the $1 off coupon from the Rayovac FB page, batteries are FREE!

Ingles runs this sale regularly… It’s actually been going on for about a month now and I’ve used this coupon twice- Worked perfectly both times!

Correction to my above post- The Rayovac Ingles Sale is not limited to AA and AAA Alkaline batteries. I believe the larger C and D batteries in 2 pks are also included.
