Target: Barbie 2 DVDs + Doll $17 + Legos .39!

I have three great Target deals to tell you about:

I mentioned this Barbie deal last week and I wanted to update that the deal is actually even better.

In the Target weekly ad, there is a deal- Buy Barbie A Perfect Christmas for $11.99 and get a Chelsea doll free.  (valued at $6.99).
Well I went to Target and on the front of the Barbie Christmas DVD is a peelie sticker for $5 off another movie- including Princess Charm School.

Here is how the deal looks:

Buy Barbie A Perfect Christmas for $11.99
Buy Chelsea Doll at $6.99- this is free at checkout
Buy Barbie Charm School for $9.99

Use $5 off sticker on the front of the movie
Final Price: $16.98 for all 3 items!

Now to make this more confusing, on the front of Barbie Princess Charm School is a peelie coupon for $3 off a second Barbie Movie. So there is a chance you will be able to use both coupons which would make the final price $13.98 for all 3 items! (Please check your peelies, some people are finding that one is already expired.)

Each of those peelies will most likely attach to both of the movies that you buy, so I would probably count on paying $17 but you might get lucky.

I was going to get the Perfect Christmas anyway so to get a second movie for $4.99 is a great deal!

**I would for sure call ahead if you want this deal. I went to one store this morning and they did not have any Chelsea dolls available. I had to go to a second store to find the dolls- they were on an end cap in the toy department.

***

I was on the hunt today for the last few things for my Operation Christmas Child boxes and I got so lucky in the Halloween area.  My store had things marked at 70% off but they actually rang up at 90% off!

So I got that little pink costume for $3.00- which around here is considered evening wear since my oldest loves her little dress up outfits.

I got a 2pk of Carter’s Halloween jammies for $1.69! Is that crazy or what?  So .85 per pair of PJ’s that would normally sell for about $10.

Then I got these Halloween Barbies for $1.19!  And finally that cute little bear for $.49!

I am sure the inventory is seriously picked over at most stores but if you are planning a trip make sure to stop by the Halloween section.  Here are the DPCI numbers for the Barbie: 086061358 and the bear: 204100872.

These are going to make fantastic donation items and personally I think a pretty pink Barbie that has a glittery dress is going to make a lot of little girls thrilled regardless of whether it says Halloween or not.

And if you happen to get lucky and find these Princess type Halloween costumes they make fantastic dress up outfits so those are still great donation items!

***

One last note, I have been hearing all about these little tiny bags of Legos that are priced at $3.99.  They come in Star Wars etc.. Keep an eye out by the cash registers for them.  They are priced at $3.99 but if you take them to a price scanner there is a good chance they will ring up at $.39.  Now both stores in my area were wiped totally out so I didn’t get to test it myself but since the stores were indeed wiped out that tells me it is working :).  Keep in mind at that price a lot of people will probably buy every last one of the packs so I don’t know if it is worth a special trip.  These are ONLY by the cash registers.

I did test the similar packs that are located in the stocking stuffer section and those rang up at $3.99.  If anyone has DPCI numbers off their receipt let us know what they are so we can call ahead and check inventory.

My store had some Legos this morning in Clovis. I bought 3 Ninjago and 3 Star Wars and there were lots left by the registers. The number on the receipt is: 204000291

I found the Lego packs in with the regular Halloween clearance stuff last Tuesday – they were then 50% off.

Barbie movie deal: I saw the $5 coupon too, got all excited (lol) but then realized it had expired on 10/9/11.

Oh I don’t see how Noemi? The Perfect Christmas was just released today? You could totally be right though, I can’t say I even looked at the date. Maybe someone else can confirm for us.

I was excited to find the peelies at my store on the DVD also. The one I found on the Charm School had an October expiration on it but I did get to use the $3 off one. I also went ahead and purchased the large Barbie doll and got a second free doll. My store allowed me to use the $5 off Barbie doll found in the Christmas toy book but it did beep.

And my store was stocked with those lego bags for .39! I bought ten and there were still tons left at all the registers.

The peelie on my Perfect Christmas was $3 off another movie, the one on the Charm School was $5 off- I decided not to get Charm school and now I am regretting that, oh well.

Oh Michelle you mean the 2011 holiday doll coupon? I think that is the one that is like $35 but I can see how that would be confusing.

    11/08/2011 at 3:09 PM

The Legos are completely cleared out in Sunnyvale, Cupertino, and and San Jose North.

Well let’s all hope they went to Toys for Tots and not Ebay ;).

I got the Lego City set and Lego Star Wars sets. The receipt codes were 212380584 & 212400330. Don’t which is what, the legos are already wrapped for the stockings…

    Kim- already wrapped?! I’m impressed!

Sorry for the confusion, the $5 expired q was on the Charm School movie, the X-mas movie had the $3 q.

Any way to know which store you found all your great items at??

  14. Charlene says

    11/08/2011 at 4:27 PM

Delia, the Chelsea doll was not available at Fairway but it was at Douglas. I got the jammies and dress at Douglas and the 2 toys at Fairway :). I believe the candy might have been 70 and the other stuff 90 but it was all marked at 70 at both stores. I didn’t price check the candy.

  15. delia says

    11/08/2011 at 4:42 PM

Were there anymore jammies at douglas when you were there? I got the doll at the Fairway store but had to go through 3 people to find them!! I also was lucky enough to ask the right person and he found a small box of legos!! And yes a few are stocking stuffers and rest are for donation.

  16. Charlene says

    11/08/2011 at 4:44 PM

Oh you did! Good! I saw some for boys but I didn’t see other 2 packs for girls.

Thank you so much for the lego tip! My Target had plenty, I was able to buy 22 and still leave a bunch on the shelf for other folks! The item #s I bought at .39e were: 4639900, 4615013, & 4615615. I also hit the jackpot in the halloween section w/ .59 t shirts, a Jango Fett $40 costume for $4, and a bunch of .50 foam swords.

  18. Charlene says

    11/08/2011 at 6:50 PM

Yeah! I hope you were as excited as I was 🙂 A Barbie for $1 is going to make me a serious rockstar.

My Target In Santa Ana CA were sold out, so I was told. I checked the Go Back carts at the front of the store. Bingo! Scored 3 Lego sets for Christmas!
Check the carts ladies, check the carts. 🙂

Ok so I went to 2 targets near me both had the pajamas but both were regular price. When I asked they said it was not Halloween although there were other clothes there that were & clearly r Halloween themed. Go figure! I also checked the Legos at one store & they were the toy story which rang up at 3.99.

I did have one question for those of u that bought the Legos were they all age 6-12??? I didn’t realize the age and wondered if they had younger ones out there like 3-5.

  21. Lillie says

    11/08/2011 at 7:59 PM

    The 3 sets I purchased were ages 5 or 6 through 12. Didn’t see any others….

  22. Astrid says

Charlene-did the pajamas automatically scan at $1.69 for you, or did they adjust the price at the register? At my store in Florida I found those exact pajamas as well as the boy’s version, but when I scanned them they came up at $16.99. I asked the salesperson that was working in the kids dept why they weren’t part of the Halloween clearance, and she wasnt sure. She thought they should be included also but said it wasn’t up to her. She said I could try to have them mark it down when I check out, but she didn’t think they would.

I went to Target around 8:15 this morning – Antioch, CA. There were only 3 Chelsea dolls left….I didn’t even pay attention to the coupon on the movie…oh well. We have sooo many DVD’s..

At my Halloween isle there were boxes of tissues that I thought were there by mistake…but when I scanned them the Kleenex brand (75 count) rang up at $.16 and the Scotties brand (60 count) rang up for $.14! I bought a bunch and then a lady in the aisle with me bought up the rest to donate to her son’s school!

There wasn’t much else in the clearance that was exciting. Some costumes, some baby clothes and a still a bit of candy! I am just so surprised that so much as lasted this long.

  24. Michelle says

    11/08/2011 at 9:04 PM

Oh, and my store still had TONS of the legos – there were packages at every register. There were 3 different styles available – Ninja, Star Wars and Atlantis.

    Charlene,
I love that you support Samaritan’s Purse & Operation Christmas Child…it’s such a worthy cause!! You’ve reminded me that I need to start shopping for my shoe boxes 🙂

I was able to use both coupons for the Barbie DVDs w/doll. I think the guy was a seasonal employee so he just took a total of $8 off! AWESOME!!!! Our store in Marysville, WA had a lot of the Barbie stuff left, some junky Halloween stuff, but no 39 cent legos. Lots of cute Hello Kitty stuff in the dollar section, though.

  27. Charlene says

    11/08/2011 at 9:40 PM

Oh darn 🙁 Wasn’t that a crazy good deal? Ok so those scanned at $1.69 for me. There was a pair of boys Carter’s fleece jammies and I was going to toss those in a donation bin but they scanned at $8.99. So I think maybe they had stuff they just didn’t mark down. I didn’t have any time to bother with having them adjust it but if you go back I’d just go to customer service directly. They will be anxious to get rid of all that stuff.

    Two things:

    1) I got a 2 pk of super cute Christmas Just One You blanket sleeper PJs (It’s cold here already!) for $8.80 last week at my Target (Lennox, Columbus, OH), and I thought $4.40/pair of PJs was great. I must go back and look for those Halloween ones.

    2) Charlene, can you give us more info about Operation Christmas Child? This sounds wonderful, and I want to do this with my daughters and my brownie troop.

  29. Brooke says

Do you know if you can put these dvd’s in the operation Christmas child shoeboxs? Do they accept dvd’s?

  30. Charlene says

    11/09/2011 at 10:20 AM

Brooke my guess would be that many places would not have the ability to play DVDs. I would try to find something else or donate the DVDs to Toys 4 Tots this year.

I went to the Natomas Target last night, they let me use both the $3 and the $5 (expired) dvd peelies and when I couldn’t find the Chelsea doll they gave me the full size Perfect Christmas Barbie (normally $18.99) for free instead. It was crazy! I even tried to point out that it should be the smaller doll! My niece is going to love them!

  33. Charlene says

    11/09/2011 at 12:16 PM

Oh shoot so that coupon is expired? OK I will update.

  34. Amanda says

    11/09/2011 at 12:25 PM

Yes, unfortunately my $5 peelie expired in Oct, but they just scanned it anyway and it worked!
