Here is a very general list of stock up prices for your holiday menus. These prices will of course vary based on the stores you shop at, the coupons you have and if your stores double coupons etc…

My prices tend to be a little higher since my grocery stores do not double coupons.

  • Turkey – Frozen $0.49-.97 lb
  • Spiral Ham $1.99 lb
  • Cranberry Sauce (can) $.049-0.99
  • Green Beans $0.45 (can)
  • Stuffing (box) $0.75
  • Sweet Potatoes $0.49 lb
  • Celery $0.89 each
  • Russet Potatoes 1o lb bag $2.99
  • Evaporated Milk $0.69
  • Sweetened Condensed Milk $o.89
  • Flour 5 lb $1.50
  • Chicken Broth (can) $0.39
  • Cream of Chicken Soup $0.50
  • Gravy (can or jar) $0.50-.99
  • Canned Pumpkin $1
  • Chocolate Morsels $1.50
  • Cream Cheese $1.00
  • Cake Mix $.99
  • Frosting $.99
  • Olives $.99

If you prefer organic or natural products, these are some rough prices to keep an eye out for:

  • Turkey- Frozen $1.49/lb (natural turkey), $2.75/lb (organic)
  • Organic Gravy- $1.00/carton
  • Organic Broth- $1.00/carton
  • Organic Stuffing- $1/bag
  • Organic Canned Pumpkin- $1.50
  • Organic Green Beans (frozen)- $1.50/bag
  • Organic Cranberry Sauce $1.00-1.50
  • Organic Potatoes $3.00 (5lb bag)
  • Organic Celery $1.00-1.50 each

So again, this is not necessarily the best deals each person will find but it should give you a very general idea of some good prices to aim for.  Hopefully we will see more coupons coming out for some of these products.

I’m interested where and how you got those prices for Chocolate Morsels and Sweetened Condensed Milk. Sounds good to me 😉

Tatyana, we have seen the Nestle ones for $1.99 at a bunch of stores and there is a $1/2 coupon. You might check the ads for your local grocery store. My grocery store has them priced at $1.99 all month. The $1/2 coupon would make them $1.49 each. You can get Hershey’s chips for $1.38 at Walmart this week:

You are amazing, Charlene! To have this Stock-up List of Thanksgiving groceries, plus posting Black Fri Ads.. whew!

I did your Walmart deal for Campbell’s Cream of Chicken & Mushroom Soups. Paid $.40 & it went smoothly. I stopped at Target & rescued someone’s discarded Target Coupon Booklet. It is 2-sided with Thanksgiving & Xmas and contains grocery Qs. Why would someone discard this gem? Butter is another item I am hunting down deals on. I found a blinky for $.75 any Challenge Butter. FoodMaxx has the Challenge Tubs priced $1.91, so $1.16 after blinky.

Did I miss something? Where do you get the Target coupon books?

Mary, I believe she meant someone had one mailed to their home and took it to the store and left it as a courtesy. I heard some stores are handing these out to customers but I never seem to get that lucky at my store.

Oh wow, this is excellent! I would love to see any other stock up price lists you have for organic/natural items in general, I am trying to start one and getting your ideas would be awesome. If you’ve already posted them somewhere could you give me the link? If not I know it’s probably a lot of work, but maybe a future post..? Thank you for all your great help, Happy Thanksgiving!
