This could possibly be a $15 catalina for your next $50 purchase. That is not what the catalina announcement I received said but that could be the case so we should know more on Sunday.

Oh that is a shame. My catalina announcement and the signs in store did not mention anything like that.
That’s disappointing that it’s $15 off $50–sometimes it’s hard to purchase over $50 worth of groceries there, especially when dairy, etc are excluded.
Barbie- I really don’t know where these others are getting the information so we will have to see. The catalina announcement I received yesterday mentioned nothing about that but I guess we will see on Sunday. I do agree it can be hard to spend $50 especially when gift cards are excluded and the ads have been so weak lately.

Ok this bites.
I figured I’d make $15 by getting Old Navy gift cards at Safeway since I was planning a shopping trip (to ON) anyway. Got the cards, got the coupon, everything OK. Put it in my purse
I just got home from a loong visit at ON (the checkout lines were CRAZY 75th Arrowhead in Peoria AZ)and checked my coupon and sure enough – it’s $15 off $50. Darn. I’m not a huge Safeway shopper because their prices are a little higher than Frys, which is right across the street. The signs did not indicate a minimum purchase would be necessary to get the $15 off and had I read this website prior to leaving, I would have thought to ask.
Ah well. I will definitely know the next time.
****Oh and Old Navy GCs are included in this offer as well. Safeway needs tolist ALL cards included, something they also failed to do on the signs.
Now they have a $10 CAT when you buy 100 in gift cards, does any one know if that 10 is off a $50 purchase too?
