Safeway Deals 11/30-12/6

11/29/2011 By Charlene 12 Comments

This post may contain affiliate links, please see my disclosure policy.

You can see Safeway’s coupon policy right here. Most stores will allow you to stack a manufacturer coupon with the store coupons that can be found in the weekly circulars. You will want to be sure to get a club card for Safeway to take advantage of the sale prices! Safeway sale prices tend to vary from region to region so you will always want to double check your local ad! Also, I do not have double coupons in my area so your prices are likely much better than mine!Be sure to read about the new Just for U program rolling out at Safeway!

*There are two additional deals at Safeway this week:

2. From Friday 2nd through Sunday 4th, spend $75 and get a $10 catalina coupon back. All the exclusions are listed in the ad- it excludes dairy, gift cards, alcohol etc…

Today was a good day at Safeway, the safeway split butter bread was buy one get one free and got perzonalized price of 1.34 each, so .67 each, think they are reg. 2.99 , also bought 2 Shell $50 gift cards and got a $10 OYNO CAT, the cat says good on any purchase of 50 of more, but this is the second time that I do it and just go trhu fine, my total was 17.67 so just paid 7.67, tested and confirmed… 😉

    Charlene,

There is a coupon on freecouponalert (http://www.freecouponalerts.com/pillsbury-cookies-sweet-rolls-biscuits-or-crescent-rolls-coupon/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Freecouponalerts+%28Free+Coupon+Alerts%29) for the $1.10 on three grands. Make each $.62.

Do you know if you can freeze these, or will they explode under pressure?
    Thanks.
    Lyra

Thank you Lyra but I am not going to click that link. I don’t trust that web site, I think they are a phishing scam and it crashes my computer when I go there. I have no idea about freezing them. I would just google and I am sure the answer would pop right up.

Thanks Charlene. Lots of deals at Safeway! Too bad I have to wait till Friday to get some of the deals.

Oh geez, I had no idea about that website. Going to run some system clean up on my PC. Thanks for the tip!

It is just my opinion 😉 Some sites post coupons from them and they are paid a commission to do so. I personally don’t post because I don’t think it is a credible site. So you might be fine but I figure I will error on the safe side. I also find the “free coupons” they send are usually available to everyone on the manufacturer page or facebook or something, you just have to track it down.

Today Kellogg’s emailed me this coupon for $1/3 boxes any Kellogg’s cereal: http://bricks.coupons.com/TAF.asp?tqnm=ylaubun94096241&o=94259&c=KE&p=3364101&cl=&cp=&eb=&ci=&bq=&r=&lang=&cista=0

We have a coupon for $0.77 on 2L of 7-up products, and the bacon is more like $6.49/lb (and then B1G1). I’m also seeing something that says Tyson chicken wings (for $2.50, I think). I don’t know if this is going to be the same as the Chicken Tysers (not sure of spelling), but if there is, there is a coupon for $1 off in the 10/16 SS. Sorry, running on memory on some of this, computer keeps crashing.

I have read that you can freeze pillsbury dough – but you need to remove it from the container first. I haven’t tried it yet – but the suggestion is to open them up, unroll them, separate them with a layer of wax paper for easy removal, and then freeze. Like I said, I haven’t tried it yet myself, but if anyone does let me know how it works out!

lyra, I’ve tried freezing Pillsbury biscuit, roll, & crescent dough as per Mama Bryan’s tip. However, when I do get around to thawing & baking them, they do not rise as high & are a bit flat 🙁 so not nice for presentation. Cookie dough is okay to freeze.

You can freeze them in the can, you just have to put it in the fridge for a day before you plan on using them to thaw.

I bought 2 Duracell batteries which both had Safeway peelie coupons for $1/1 on them. I also used the in-ad Safeway coupon for $2/1 (and it deducted $4). I have a J4U personalized price of $6.04, and that worked. And a $.75 e-coupon was unexpectedly deducted.

The new upcoming ad shows Duracell will be BOGO, so especially good if you have J4U & find the peelies & there’s an insert coupon P&G
