I was just at Safeway today shopping and saw the strangest thing. The “Eating Right” hearts of romaine that I used to buy were now sold as Safeway Farms and then next to those they had ones marked Kroger…we dont have Kroger stores here but do have Fred Meyers which is the same family. I thought Kroger would be considered a competitor of Safeway ???? Odd.
my safeway has hearts of romaine fresh express bags on sale for 2/6.00 but there is a coupon for 2.00 off in the safeway fresh idea magazine making them $1.00 a bag and the cup of noodles big cups for 2/1.00 i know there is a coupon in the coupon booklets somewhere i will find it!
