I connected via Facebook and then you have to “share” the offer. I went ahead and shared it with my own email address and got an immediate code that can be used in store. They also email you the coupon or you can have it sent to your smart phone. I did that and the coupon came immediately.
It reads “present this $5 off barcode to the cashier at any Gap Kids or BabyGap store location.”
There is no expiration date listed. Yeah! So this is basically $5 off a $5 purchase!
They also have the 40% off Gap coupon available right now. I am guessing you can’t use them both at once but it certainly doesn’t hurt to ask.

The code generator wasn’t working this morning but now it is – just got my code! I got a $5 off code.
Has anyone tried to use the $5 code in the store? I got the code this morning and printed out the email with the code and the barcode. Went to the store and when the tried to either scan the barcode or input the code, it kept saying invalid discount code. They couldn’t get it to work. The manager said maybe it starts on a certain date. Anyone else have problems with it?

@Astrid- I tried to use my code by showing it to them on my phone. The code did not work either, but they did an override to give me the $5 off anyways. The awesome thing is that the 30% friends and family discount is coming off automatically so the additional $5 came off too! I was going to try the 40% off coupon, but figured I wouldn’t press my luck!
