Elizabeth, I got an email from them about it but it is also on the site. You have to wait for the scrolling banner thing on the home page to see the details. It was starting to work for me yesterday- I had $76 in items and it was taking $20 off the top but then I couldn’t get any further than that. It just kept putting me in circles when I tried to log in, enter the voucher etc… They sent a really nice note yesterday saying the site was a mess and they were very sorry and to just be patient because they estimated 10x the sales and they far exceeded that estimate. If you want an order right away the email is jody at ecomom and they are supposed to be processing them.
Will we get free shipping since the voucher is for $50 or do we need to spend an addition 50 to get it?
Don, in the past I have had $49.99 in my cart and not had free shipping. So if you have $70 you need $70- $20 free credit – $50 voucher. So in my case, my item was $69 and I had a $4 filler item. Does that make sense?
But again I am only speculating because I keep trying to order and I still can’t get through.
Thanks for the info. I am trying to order, but it’s stuck when I click “check out.” I got a voucher on LivingSocial the other day and I’d like to use both while this $20 discount is going on too! Found totally cute stuff for Christmas presents and I’ve got my eye on a rather pricey diaper bag, which I will totally buy from them in the future if all goes well with this (free shipping and it’s basically the same price as elsewhere, so why not buy it from here, since they’re a good company and all!).
I have added a $70 worth order to my cart,the system automatically deducted $20 ( web site offer) but when i tried using my living social,the system canceled the $20 and did not deduct the $50 voucher either,it deducted a % of the order ..!! very surprised..
Oh gosh what a headache. Maybe it is still broken? They said yesterday to email orders, I emailed my $74 order in and still haven’t heard anything.
I got as far as the checkout as well, and now I’m stuck. I did just read on the fine print on the Plum District Voucher that it says please wait 48 hours to redeem. Maybe that is the problem?

Update! I just checked (again) and they are working on fixing the problems and doing their best to get everyone’s orders honored and shipped before Christmas. I think they are doing a really good job of being transparent at least.
