CVS Black Friday Ad

11/09/2011

Share

Here are the Black Friday deals for CVS stores. These are actually available Thursday- Saturday but you want to just double check the hours of your local store if you plan to shop on Thanksgiving Day.

I decided instead of highlights to just post the entire ad so you can plan your shopping well in advance. Just note that coupons will change in the next few weeks so I will keep this as updated as possible.

Thanks! I excited about this ad

Hello,

I have a question about the CVS Black Friday specials. First let me say, please forgive me, I am just starting couponing and am still not completely sure on how it all works. So here goes,
On the first special for the Revlon Nail Polish for $4.99 It says when you buy 1, you get $4 in ecb, Limit 6 So my question is, if you buy 6, do you only get $4 back for one, or for each one that you buy?
Thank you for all of your help.

Mel k. November 9, 2011 at 6:57 PM

Hello,

Thank you for posting the CVS Black Friday specials. I am just learning to coupon and have a quick question. For instance on your first special listed with the Revlon nail polish. It’s $4.99. You buy 1, you get $4 ecb. Limit 6. So here is my question, if you buy 6, do you get $4 ecb for just one nail polish or for each one you buy?
Thanks for your help!

Tammi November 9, 2011 at 7:34 PM

Charlene, There’s a $2/2 Q on the soft lips in the Re-inventing beauty magazine (Reese Witherspoon) so you’d get 2 free:)

Charlene November 9, 2011 at 7:50 PM

Mel the limit is 6 so you would get an ECB for each of the 6 that you buy. The best bet in that case is to break up your transactions so that you can use your prior ECB to pay for the next polish etc… etc…

Amy November 9, 2011 at 9:02 PM

Love the comment to mean girl! People should mind their own business! Thanks for the ad :)

Mel November 9, 2011 at 9:15 PM

Charlene, my apologies it posted more than once. It want showing it had posted. Than you for your help.

Court November 9, 2011 at 9:22 PM

You go Charlene. “Jenna” nobody cares where she got the ad. We just appreciate that she’s shared it.

erin of twins November 9, 2011 at 9:32 PM

Charlene, Thank you for all the work that you do to help us all save money. We don’t pay you for what you do, yet we reap HUGE rewards. I am sorry that someone is choosing to be mean, like in the above post. can you choose to erase posts like the one above?

Cdao November 9, 2011 at 9:33 PM

so many good deals, don’t know how I’m gonna keep up. I need my ads in hand to circle the deals. great matchups. thanks

Kate November 9, 2011 at 10:02 PM

Oh my gracious! That’s horrible! You rock, Charlene. Don’t let that kind of person get to you.

Amy November 10, 2011 at 12:43 AM

There’s no link for the GUM Oral Care Product Printable – is that one still available?
Oh, and BTW, Charlene, your site is awesome and I really appreciate you!

lyra November 10, 2011 at 12:43 AM

Charlene, thank you so much for all of the work you do. I know I appreciate it and I understand how much it takes to be a working mother. You do alot and help alot of us! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

Karen November 10, 2011 at 7:40 AM

I just wanted to thank you too. You’re site is my absolute fave! I l hope that the negative comments you receive don’t get you down b/c I’m sure that there are literally tons of people who appreciate you that you aren’t aware of. Thanks a bunch! <3

Melanie November 10, 2011 at 8:22 AM

You are awesome and I appreciate all your work so much!

Angel November 10, 2011 at 8:43 AM

Some people are so bored with their lives that they need to create negativity to others….like this Jenna person….I think your doing the right thing and just blocking any future posts…she obviously has no life and can’t appreciate all the hard work you do for all of us! I love love love your site (so user friendly compared to some others I visit)…I’ve been couponing for a year now and started out by reading your posts and blogs..i learned it all from you and I am grateful.
Thank you!

Hey Charlene,

I have one small suggestion. When somebody asks a question about a deal and you answer to it, can it appear just below the question? It will be a lot easier. to Keep track of. As you see here in the comments, Mel k had asked about the Revlon deal and your answer is 2 comments away. It is just a suggestion so new couponers can learn.

Thank YOU for all you do on this site. :)

Charlene November 10, 2011 at 10:10 AM

Anu, I don’t think I can. I would have to have control over when people actually comment because I have to approve each comment manually. If 3 people comment at the same time and I don’t approve for 15 minutes- well they all go up according to the time. Then I actually respond to each comment directly by clicking reply and I think it just posts automatically according to time. So anyhow- I do reply to each comment directly but then wordpress puts them up how it wants and I don’t have any idea how to correct that. I’ll have to ask if the other bloggers have the same issue.

Mel November 10, 2011 at 11:03 AM

I don’t understand what the drama is all about. I can’t speak for the rest of the people who visit the site, but I come here looking to learn how to coupon and the match ups. I don’t understand why it matters who provided the ads and/or match ups. If she doesn’t like that there isn’t kudos given to whomever provided the information than she doesn’t need to come here and provoke. I know I am very thankful for all the information provided.
Charlene, I sent you a personal email yesterday, however I was wondering if there was a “coupon support group” lol, I don’t know what to call it, but maybe people who email each other and guide each other with help as well as this site? I just need all the help I can get while starting out.

Rachael M. November 10, 2011 at 11:09 AM

I’m not sure why anyone wants to give you crap that you don’t deserve. I just started out college so I’m only 18-almost 19, and from my mom’s experience on couponing and checking your website everyday, I want to really thank you for saving me money and honestly, making my life easier. Getting free products are great and even better learning new deals. I’ve gotten a lot of free stuff in the mail, making my mom rather jealous. ;) because of your website. No matter what happens, know that you’re really nice to your readers and people like you-know-what need to grow up and stop making drama that doesn’t belong.

Thanks again. :)

Also, to stay on topic with your post, I’m VERY excited about the CVS black friday! From your aveeno glith you found where you got $7ecb, I’m basically going into CVS with $7 and going back out with $21ecb. Hehe, I love coupons.

christen November 10, 2011 at 2:45 PM

“Jenna” obviously doesn’t come to your site that often or she would know that you are the opposite of a shelf-clearer! Not only do you discourage that, but you also discourage people from taking advantage of coupons and using them in the wrong way–I love that! I love this site! My favorite out of all the coupon blogs…. I look at the match ups on here and a few other sites, and you quite often have a match up that others have missed and have matchups done earlier than most. Most of the blogs out there are just reposts of each other. I love thqt you are always posting amazon deals, target deals, etc… I have purchased a lot of great items that you found…the Garth Brooks $5 cd set and the $5 baby dolls from walmart, the x-box live card from Best Buy, the make up brushes, vests, flannels– from Target.com, etc… those are just s few of the many that jump out at me. Those are things that you found and no one else posted. Last year when all the Disney movies were coming out, you put the deals together with rolling the pre-orders from toys r us. I saved so much money and got so many freebies from that. My point is, your site is not just a copy-cat repost of all the same deals that everyone else does. It is obvious that you do your own work and find your own deals the majority of the time. And you do credit people when you are reposting from another blog. Anyone that follows your site would know that, and I have been doing so for years!

Keep it up, Charlene, you rock!

Charlene November 10, 2011 at 2:56 PM

Thanks Christen, I was thinking about those CDs this year too so don’t tell anyone else until I am ready to dig that deal up :P I seem to post things and then others happen to find them 5 minutes later :D

Shannon November 11, 2011 at 10:26 AM

WHOA! Awesome deals! I’ll definitely be hitting up the stores through the Thanksgiving/Black Friday week. It’ll be my first BF trip since I started couponing.

Thanks for everything you do, Charlene! Please know that all your hard work is appreciated. And you save me boatloads of money and time every week with your matchups!

Keep up the awesome work!

Elaine November 11, 2011 at 4:34 PM

Charlene, Are you going to be doing any matchups for the gift card offer? Thanks

Charlene November 11, 2011 at 6:09 PM

Elaine if I can find the time closer to Black Friday I will ad some scenarios in.

Kim November 12, 2011 at 9:18 AM

Thanks for the ad preview! It’s appreciated MORE THAN YOU KNOW! For a working mom of twins I don’t have time to sit down and look through ads to do the matchups. You do a great job! Sending HUGS! Keep the info deals coming!

Sue November 12, 2011 at 9:46 AM

Thanks Charlene!!

Elaine November 12, 2011 at 9:12 PM

Thanks Charlene!

izzie November 14, 2011 at 4:42 PM

How do you print the coupons

Bianca November 17, 2011 at 2:36 PM

Question… say you had a coupon for each and every item that is going to be “free” at CVS on BF… If you used 20 coupons for those 20 items will you still get the ecb’s for each item?

Charlene November 17, 2011 at 2:39 PM

Yes Bianca you will. Your best bet if that is your plan, would be to divide up those transactions so that you roll your ECBs instead of spending a lot out of pocket and then leaving with a fistful of ECBs. Just pay attention to the limits on each item.

Endcapps November 18, 2011 at 11:16 AM

Breathe Right Nasal Strips specially-marked boxes qualify for a MIR here’s the info: http://www.breatheright.com/challenge/#reg1. We have wanted to try this product anyway.

Carmex also has specially-marked packages with an MIR.

A sample of Kleenex Cool Touch arrived and it has a $.40 Q. I don’t know where I ordered this sample, sorry.

Endcapps November 18, 2011 at 11:25 AM

I am a CVS Diabetes Advantage member. They mailed “Here’s to You” coupon pamphlet with good Q’s to use on Black Friday:
$6/$30 any health care purchase x12/31/11
$1 any Colgate Total store Q x12/31/11

Bernadette November 18, 2011 at 4:49 PM

Wow! I love how I’m able to select certain items then create and print a list. You are so techy. Thank you.

laurie November 20, 2011 at 11:44 AM

Hi Charlene,
Did you change the Sonicare deal? I thought it was $8.99 after using the $25 coupon. I also noticed today that there was a $10 rebate in today’s coupons for the Sonicare. I was thinking that this was going to be a moneymaker. Thanks–I love your website.

Charlene November 20, 2011 at 11:50 AM

Laurie I don’t think I did but things are blurring together for me these days :P I tweaked CVS a little but I don’t remember changing that one. I think the rebate will work though so I will add it in!

joyce November 23, 2011 at 3:37 PM

I am clueless on the “negative” issue.. I must have missed something.. BUT I want to say Thank you for all you do!

Rachel November 23, 2011 at 10:27 PM

Do you know if there is a limit to how many transactions you can do at CVS? I’m thinking about doing 3 or 4 to roll my ECB.

Kimrose November 23, 2011 at 11:15 PM

Just adding my “Thank You!” to the chorus. If I knew your savings-sharing made your family a million dollars, I ‘d say GOOD FOR YOU – and Thanks for helping us save and find freebies to stretch our family’s money! HAPPY THANKSGIVING and Thanks sincerely from one of the many grateful! :)

laura November 24, 2011 at 2:38 PM

HAPPY TURKEY DAY EVERYONE!!!!

Endcapps November 24, 2011 at 5:50 PM

I am most thankful today for MFA :) We appreciate your hard work, Charlene! I got everything on my CVS BFri list. The CVS alkaline AA batteries scanned $3.65 & printed a $3.99 ECB! The yellow box Cheerios are included in the cereal deal (Chex, Total, Cin Toast Crunch). All my coupons went thru at full values except $2 Bayer Advanced. I searched for new CVS coupon books & found “Look Sensational This Season” containing three CVS coupons (store Q’s):
$1 any CoverGirl product x12/31
$1 any Pantene product x12/31
$2 any Olay pro X cleansing system or proX protocol x12/31
I’m hoping for their holiday coupon booklet this year.
Happy Thanksgiving

Endcapps November 24, 2011 at 5:53 PM

Bay Area was limit of 2 for cereal deal
