There is a new Barnes and Noble coupon available for 40% off in store only through 11/24.
The items this coupon qualifies for include:
- Educational Toys and Games
- Adult Games and Puzzles
- Gift Section in store
Now the fine print on the coupon says it can not be used on items marked as not valid for promotions or coupons. So if you know what item you want, you can type that in on Barnes and Noble.com and it will have the fine print that reads:
So you will know before you head out what counts and what does not count.
I don’t know if you would be able to use this on Elf on a Shelf or not. ย If you can use it your price would be $18+tax or so.
If you want to just wait it out, it looks like we will see 50% off educational toys on Black Friday- in stores or online.
I will have a lot of deals posted for you so you can just be sure to check in with me to get all the details.

Anyone know if the LeapPad is excluded? I can’t find it on their website?? I mean, I found it, but when I click on it, it just goes to the games and I can’t find the actual LeapPad.
THANKS!
I doubt this would work on a Nook….I looked on their site and didn’t see that line about discounts. What do you think?
I think it would be a real stretch for that Rebecca. If you get it, stop off at the gas station and buy a lotto ticket too ๐
The Target deal is still good on Nook:

It sold out online but it is good in store.
Brandi, I checked several of those types of games and they were all excluded. It could possibly work but I don’t have a very good feeling about it.
would the discount for Thomas the train stuff work?
Melissa, I really don’t know what they consider gift area and I am not sure Thomas would be educational ๐ I hate to have you waste your time driving there but I really have no idea. Maybe if someone heads over they will report back. I am considering a trip to Old Navy for the clearance tomorrow so I might check while I am there.
This is a great coupon! I used it today on an automoblox set for my son, so I think the “educational” is a loose interpretation.
I’ve used this type of coupon on Lego sets in B & N before so I agree with Laura that they are pretty loose on interpretation!
