Is this a HE detergent? Does anyone ever use non HE on a HE washer? I have a front loader and it specifically states to use only HE detergent.

Krista – My in-laws had a front load that they weren’t using HE detergent for, after a couple years the ball-bearings went out and the thing started sounding like a jet-engine doing a fly-by. The independent appliance man told them it was so expensive to fix they might as well buy a new one and to make sure they use HE detergent.

I have used non-HE detergent in my front loader from time to time…and I’ve had it for 8 years, with no issues…I was under the impression you just use a little less…I went ahead to got mine – you can’t beat that price! 🙂
