Safeway Deals 10/5-10/11

This post may contain affiliate links, please see my disclosure policy.

You can see Safeway’s coupon policy right here. Most stores will allow you to stack a manufacturer coupon with the store coupons that can be found in the weekly circulars. You will want to be sure to get a club card for Safeway to take advantage of the sale prices! Safeway sale prices tend to vary from region to region so you will always want to double check your local ad! Also, I do not have double coupons in my area so your prices are likely much better than mine!Be sure to read about the new Just for U program rolling out at Safeway!

…Click Below to See the Complete List of Safeway Deals….

Here are the Safeway deals for the week. This week they are once again featuring the $10 catalina coupon when you spend $75 total in one transaction. Check the ad for the exclusions- there are a few like gift cards and liquid dairy products. The $10 catalina is only good through 10/16. The fine print states $75 must be spent after all savings and discounts- in theory that should be calculated after Safeway store discounts and before manufacturer coupons. Sometimes these promotions work before coupons and sometimes they don’t so if anyone heads in to try this let us know how it worked out for you.

Hello! Question–can I buy two Nivea lip products and use the $3/2 coupon from the 10/2 Red Plum?

Yes Sonia, they will adjust the coupon down to be valued at $2 only.

My ad in Maryland also has Thomas’ English Muffins Twin Pack for $1.99 – which makes them $1.00/6 = stock up price in our area.

Purchased this am along with other groceries and they did not adjust down the coupon. Should I be telling them to do so?

The coupon in my October All You for ICBINB is for $1.50 off a Walmart bakery item when you buy two ICBINB. Is the Q different for home delivery mag?

We must have been typing at the same time!! Also, I can’t get the birdseye link to work.

Susan, this is the link and it comes up for me. If you ever have an issue with a coupon not working, you can always just go to the coupon database on the right side of the blog and check as well:

It’s me again! I can’t find the transocean coupon, is there a zip code you used?

can i use 1 $3/2 nivea and 1 $1/1 nivea at the same time? They both state one coupon per shopping trip, but IDK if that means one of each coupon.

  10. Charlene says

Kyle if you mean can you buy several Nivea in one trip and use a coupon for each time yes. If you mean can you buy 1 Nivea and use both coupons on it the answer in no. That language that says one per purchase means you use one single manufacturer coupon per item in your transaction. If it says one per customer or one per transaction that means you can only use one of the same coupon per transaction.

    I hope that makes sense.

The coupon says one coupon per item (which i know what that one means) but also says “one coupon per shopping trip” I’ve just never seen that specific wording before. Is a shopping trip the same thing as a transaction? I have 5 of each of the $3/2 and $1/1. I’m guessing it would have to be 5 separate transactions?

  12. Charlene says

    10/05/2011 at 1:46 PM

Yes that is right Kyle. Stinkers. So you can use $1 and a $3/2 at once and then 4 more transactions. The only thing with Safeway is they only carry one type of lip balm and I find they run out really fast so being able to get a bunch will be a problem. I am going to try price matching at Target instead.

Does anyone know if Lucerne shredded cheese is part of the buy 2 get one deal. I have a pretty good personalized price, but wondering if it is worth the trip?

Carrie, Lucerne shreds doesn’t come up as part of the B2G1 sale when I looked online (safeway website, click grocery delivery tab). Looks like the Lucerne 8oz chunks are part of the sale… But your comment lead me to find that my personalized price for Sargento Slices is $2.08 & is on the B2G1 sale. So, thank you for prompting me!
