Safeway Deals 10/19-10/25

This post may contain affiliate links, please see my disclosure policy.

You can see Safeway’s coupon policy right here. Most stores will allow you to stack a manufacturer coupon with the store coupons that can be found in the weekly circulars. You will want to be sure to get a club card for Safeway to take advantage of the sale prices! Safeway sale prices tend to vary from region to region so you will always want to double check your local ad! Also, I do not have double coupons in my area so your prices are likely much better than mine!Be sure to read about the new Just for U program rolling out at Safeway!

We can do both the personalized price and the ecoupons? I have Wishbone for .99 cents (personalized price) and 1.50 off ecoupon. Can I get it for free or get overage on it? Thanks Charlene!

Carrie the policy is to adjust coupons down but someone commented on last week’s deals that she got overage from the Wishbone. I think it was Oksana that commented.

Yes, ladies, my receipt actually said that I paid -$0.51 for Wishbone. But I went through self-checkout if it help but no problems.

I just went to safeway for a run before some of my just 4 u deals expire. I got the Mayo, a wishbone salad dressing, 4 peanut butters and a fuze drink for my daughter. The final out of pocket after coupons, just 4 u deals, and catalinas was $3.78. I scored big. Of course I come home and realize I forgot the Knorr sides. Darn, my .79 expries today. Oh well. 🙂

  6. laurra says

    10/18/2011 at 7:12 PM

my personal price is $1.36 for progresso so buy 4 @ 1.36= 5.44 -1.00 off coupon for buying 4=final total being $4.44 for 10 cans of soup thats .44 apiece

  7. Stacey says

    10/18/2011 at 7:13 PM

I also got the overage from the wishbone. My receipt said -.51 for the wishbone.

  8. Kylene says

    10/18/2011 at 7:20 PM

Carrie, I received the overage also. That promo ends tonight so you better go get it.

  9. Denise says

I can confirm that you get a $0.51 overage.

The Frappuccino deal gets even better…If you buy 2 of these you should get a Catalina for a grande Starbucks beverage!!

  11. Charlene says

    10/18/2011 at 8:08 PM

OK Anna I will try it. Those drinks are like $4 so that would be a great deal.

  12. Carrie says

    10/18/2011 at 8:20 PM

Oh awesome! I also have a personalized price of 1.49 for Skippy plus a $1/2. Best get going!

  13. Angie says

    10/19/2011 at 5:30 AM

How do I get personalized prices? I have clicked on the link several times and it always says it is not available for this club card.

  14. Margaret says

    10/19/2011 at 7:20 AM

Does anyone know how many of the mayo I can get with my just 4 you and e coupon?

  15. Charlene says

    10/19/2011 at 8:17 AM

Angie do you live in an area that has Just 4 U? It would be all over your weekly advertisements and they would be pitching it to you each time you enter the store if it was available in your area. If it is not than you won’t have the program available yet.

Quick question….. If I received a catalina from Safeway on cereal but it says Manufacture and also has Safeway logo on it… Is it considered a Safeway coupon or a Manufacture coupons?? I am wondering because I believe I used my last one in conjunction with regular manufacture coupons at Safeway because the cashier said it was a Safeway but when I went to use one that was the same senario but said Target at Target with other manufacture ones they would not allow it (although I have done the same thing there for the same reason) I am now very confused!! Help!

I got the free starbucks grande beverage coupon!! 🙂

is the starbucks bonus drink avail for anyone? i have a vons card which is accepted at safeway, but no safeway or personal just for u deals. hope someone knows!

  19. Charlene says

    10/19/2011 at 7:59 PM

Selen- I don’t think this has anything to do with Just 4 U. I believe it is just a catalina promotion. You just need the $3.99 price for the 4pks which is an in ad coupon. Then use the Pepsi insert coupon and the catalina should print out! Like I said, I am not sure if this is only at stores with a Starbucks kiosk inside though. I think you will be fine shopping at Vons.

The Popcorn Indiana is on sale at Walgreens for 1.99 this week. The cinnamon sugar is super YUMMY!

  21. Natalie says

I am heading out to Dominicks today (safeway of the midwest) and on my J4U account I loaded the 2.99 price for the Kraft Cooking Creme, and the 1.00 off coupon for the Kraft Cooking Creme. Will it take off both, or only do one? If it does both that helps big because then I can save my paper coupons for another store if they have a good deal. I know I did it with the peanut butter, but that was a ‘personalized price’ and the 2.99 is in the coupon section.

Has anyone figured out if you can do the peanut butter one more than once? I bought 2 with my J4U price and was wanting to buy 2 more.

  22. Natalie says

    10/20/2011 at 3:28 AM

Just browsed the ad online and it says the Kraft cooking creme is actually 2.49 with card and in-ad coupon, 2.99 with just card. Looks like I will be taking off the 2.99 price from J4U and am going to use the 1.00 coupon and the in ad coupon, making it 1.49.

  23. Lacey says

    10/20/2011 at 7:09 AM

I wonder if they starbucks cat is good if you buy just one or do you have to buy 2. Does anyone know? i have a cp for $1 on 1 4 pk.

  24. Jolene says

    10/20/2011 at 2:06 PM

I was looking in my ad and it shows the Popcorn Indiana Chocolate Kettlecorn 6oz (Friday Only) – $2.50 is acutally on sale on Monday only! Was not sure if that was a typo or in your ad it was on Fri.

  25. Charlene says

    10/20/2011 at 2:32 PM

Jolene- I saw a big display at Safeway yesterday for $2.50 so I think it is all week not just the one day sale.

  26. Charlene says

    10/20/2011 at 2:37 PM

Natalie- my price is $2.99 but dairy prices tend to be higher in California so it makes sense that other areas got a better deal.

  27. Sylvia says

    10/20/2011 at 11:00 PM

Does the Nature Valley sale include the bars with yogurt coating? The Safeway in-ad coupons are never clear on what selected varieties are included in the sale…and they are not tagged on the shelf either. It’s like a guessing game!

  28. Charlene says

    10/21/2011 at 7:21 AM

Sylvia as long as you are buying a bar and not the thins it shouldn’t matter which variety you buy.

  29. JJ says

@Natalie, here is an amazing BOGO coupon for Kraft Philly Cooking creme http://print.coupons.com/Couponweb/Offers.aspx?pid=14703&zid=us85&nid=20 😛

    hello,
I walked in to my vons today and the sparkle paper towels are part of the 5 dollar Friday deal. Does anybody know if that is a good deal?? Not sure

  31. Lisa G. says

The 99 cent red grapes at my store (Felton CA) had peelies on them for 55 cents off any Real CA cheese. I paired that with the $1.79 Lucerne shredded cheese with the seal (Sharp cheddar), making it $1.24. I also got the Starbucks cat. My store doesn’t have Starbucks in it but the store in the next town does. Also, had another Skippy personalized price of $1.66, and a cat coupon for $1 off 2 Skippys. There has been a $1 cat promotion for Skippy wyb 2 since last week. Also did the Kelloggs/free milk deal. Will go back and do most of these deals again before Tuesday.

I went yesterday before the Pepsi coupons expired but I noticed the Cat for the Free Starbucks Grande beverage printed as soon as you scanned the 2nd (frappachino or double shot). I had not even entered my card # yet. HTHs
